Good flavor on this one but it is rather sweet. It works well for peppermint mocha coffees but it’s too much for hot chocolates. We also mix a little into chocolate syrup to pour over chocolate cake for a winter dessert. Add peppermint sprinkles to garnish.
Great product! Make sure you order 4 at a time so the Shipping/packaging is better! Otherwise, the bottles crush other things in your order or get syrup everywhere!
We use other Monin flavors which have been a wonderful addition to our coffeebar. We wanted the peppermint to make Minty Mochas. However, when its added to the mocha (Ghirardelli Chocolate) you cannot taste the peppermint at all in a hot latte. By it’s self with 5 pumps in a 20 oz cup, you have a hint of peppermint. It adds sweetness, but not peppermint like we had wanted. If you want mint in your hot lattes, this isn’t the syrup for that.

Monin's Peppermint is much better than the other brands. This one is VERY potent and only requires one or two pumps to really make a mocha or hot chocolate minty tasting. The Torani flavor is so weak that we had to add peppermint essential oil to it in order to make it strong enough. Monin's brand is powerful! Their Frosted Mint flavor also can be used in mochas -- its more of a Spearmint flavor. But in our opinion, the Peppermint works better for coffee beverages.
