This is a big, big bowl. Make sure you check the dimesions. We’ve been using for prep work instead of buffet line. Pretty sturdy so far.

This is a decent salad bowl for what it is, and it certainly does the job. Light, but sturdy enough, so it's perfect for a small salad. However, the reason I only gave it three stars is because the advertised capacity is 1.8 quarts, whereas the product I received was actually only 1.67 quarts. Since even 1.8 quarts was on the low side for me, I was quite disappointed with this. Thus, to sum it up, a decent bowl, especially for the price, but be aware that its capacity might differ by some amount from the one given here. If you're good with that, it's a product I'd recommend, though.

A little Cheaply made but the price is right
We use to these bowls for ice cream and salad on our parties. There great for everything. You can't go wrong with buying to them. We had them for 8yrs and just now going to order more.

This bowl (along with the others in the set) are very good quality. They're plastic, but they're quite thick and sturdy. I ordered one 40.7Qt for big salad, one 11.2Qt for tortilla chips, & three 1.67Qt for salsas & guacamole. I think these will work very well for my bridl shower and wedding. We'll most likely end up keeping the 11.2 and 1.67 sizes for use in the home post-wedding as well. The 40Qt is also great but very very large so definitely not for regular/daily use. I still highly recommend this size because most other very large bowls we were looking at were quite a bit more expensive. These look great, are sturdy, and look like they will last many uses

I looked at so many different websites trying to find something similar, but they were outrageously expensive. It is made in the United States. The reason for our four star review is because we are not the biggest fans of the pebbled design on the side of the bowl.
