This waffle mix by itself does not have much flavor. If purchased adding vanilla extract or such will help add some flavor. If you intend on the sweet taste of a waffle this mix by itself is not satisfactory.

It's ok. You can add some cinnamon and vanilla to give it something extra it needs. It's not bad for the price. For a small amount we only use 2 cups to make 8 waffles.

The Carnival waffle mix is one of my favorites to use. The ease of mixing this as needed. Shelf stable. And the smell and flavor draw guests to our waffle stand. I just wish they made a chocolate and other flavors like some companies due.

I purchased this item for my Inn and don't like it at all. It doesn't brown well, is tough and has poor flavor. Very disappointed.

Seems to be a tasty item so far. We have only used it for testing purposes. Felt I had to add a little vanilla and cinnamon to the batter myself. The packaging for this product is not good. The bags are put into a box which was torn upon delivery.

I am glad I prepared this in small batches before service as those in the kitchen with me found the after taste of this batter very poor. After attempting to add vanilla, butter and other ingredients we were able to make it taste a little better but scrapped this mix in full and went with another solution. If you're okay with a generic package taste go for it. Also the package does not mention individual portions, only if you are going to mix the entire bag.

I thought I would try this to see if this was the same mix you get in hotels. It is comparable. The bag is good size for the price. Taste is pretty good. i would probably by the product again.

The just-add-water mix that I used to buy at the grocery store can't be found anymore, so I tried this. The waffles came out nice and crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside. They also have a decent taste. Great alternative for the price!

I am not crazy about this mix. I bought it to make waffles but there wasn't any instructions on how to make waffles on the packaging. I ordered a different brand and it worked out great.

this was a great mix, the waffles were light and fluffy with a lovely crisp outside. even was able to figure out the recipe to make smaller batches adn not have to use the whole bag at once.

These waffles came out AMAZING! We use this just for our family use and everyone approves. I love how easy they are to make only having to add water. I don't measure just sort of eyeball it to a pancake batter consistency. I have found that the thinner you make the batter the crispier the waffles are. Will order again soon since we went thought the first bag pretty quick!

I've tried this Carnival King Belgian Waffle Mix a number of times and have always produced gummy, rubbery waffles. It's not my favorite, but it may be incorrect preparation. The instructions are simple and straightforward so I'm not sure if I got a poor batch or if it's the product itself. If it did produce good waffles it would be a great value for the price.
