The good: The weight, design, and construction of these bowls is incredibly nice, the best I've found so far. It would be a 5 star if not for this: The disappointing: The interior satin finish is definitely not my preference. it looks like dull old aluminum and it's nature is that appears somewhat dirty and oxidized after cleaning.. Scratches from a single use of Danish mixing whisk left very visible scratches, and it looks worse than a shiny scratched bowl, as those eventually develop a patina that becomes a dull glow. These scratches show up as darker gray. The interior urface.is almost rough to the touch, almost like raw metal. Joanna's review left on 2/2/23 is spot on - and I wish I would have read it before "blindly" ordering this set. I wish I would have ordered the CHEAPER polished set by Vollrath. The interior of these bowls with the ugly matt finish is unbearable. They never look clean and they always feel dirty and rough to the touch because of the matt finish. I've never seen stainless steel bowls like this. I also noticed that one of the bowls has a bubble on the bottom of the bowl (you can push the outside of the bottom of the bowl like pushing a button - it's like the coating separated). I love this set of mixing bowls. It is the perfect combination of sizes. The bowls themselves are made very well and feel as though they will last for a long time. Great buy!

This is a solid set of bowls, especially for the price. I had a similar set for 20 years, but decided it was time for a shiny new set. I'm equally happy with these. They are standard weight, so not too heavy. I strongly recommend picking up a set.

Great set of mixing bowls! Has all the features you need. The construction feels solid yet lightweight. The sizing is great as well. My first set arrived with some damage on the bottom but it was quickly replaced with a new set free of flaws. Would highly recommend.
