I do love these. They are very long... which makes them practical for the stovetop, and for use on the grill, as well. Sturdy and practical.

These are the BEST tongs we've ever used. They work well for all our needs. We bought a few to have on hand. The handle is amazing and should be the default for any good pair of tongs.

Best tongs ever. Perfect amount of 'spring'. Nylon tips prevent me from scraping my non-stick and seasoned pans. Easy to clean, except maybe the dimples in the nylon coating–you can easily miss a little bit of food there if you're not careful. Best feature is definitely the lack of a hinge. I frequently pinch my palm in other tongs that have a hinge at the end. They don't lock closed, so they'll take up more space, but it's well worth the lack of a hinge and it makes them easier to just grab and use.

I really like these tongs and they work well. They are long lasting, and not flimsy like other lesser quality tongs on the market. Must have!

Good pair of thongs, easy to use and easy to clean. Handle heat well with no complaint, size is pretty standard for cooking up close.

These nylon tipped tongs are perfect for cooking in non-stick and similarly coated pans. They feel very sturdy, have a good retraction force, and they are a breeze to clean!

Wow these tongs are perfect! They feel great in the hands and work phenomenal. I love to use this in the kitchen to flip meats and other foods in the pan. And it doesn’t scratch my non stick pans!

I use these tongs for different things but one of my favorite uses is frying bacon. They are heat resistant and don’t scratch my pan while turning the bacon. You can easily throw them in the dishwasher with no problem.

These tongs are very comfortable and great to use on all my non-stick coated pots and pans. Works great on my BBQ as well as I can get in and not have to worry about the heat resistant tips from melting.

bought this tongs to use with my non stick cookware. Vollrath has always produced top quality products! i I like the metal handle better over the one with silicone coating because i don't have to worry about the coating melting if i decided to leave these tongs in the pan

These tongs are very large and good for grilling on a large grill or using in a large wok or frying pan. This is also durable to heat.

I like the nylong end of these tongs. I like to cook with em and the ends help prevent my cookingware from getting scratches up

We use these at home and at our restaurant. They are high-quality, inexpensive, and are large and easy to hold in your hand- the amount of resistance is just right.

They are exactly as described, but in hind sight I don't love that there is no way to lock them closed. When using this, it doesn't really matter, but storing them is a bit of a pain. I use a hair elastic to lock them, but would be nice if it was part of the unit.

These are great stainless steel tongs especially with the nylon end so it doesn't scratch anything and they feel very sturdy in your hand too!

I love this pair of tongs! It doesn't scratch teflon pans and they are very sturdy and versatile. The length also makes them very useful for grilling and frying. They hold up very well to high heat.

This is a great product to use when teaching culinary arts students in high school. Easy to grip. Students seem comfortable with them. Wash well in an industrial dishwasher. Highly recommend.

I am not too fond of these tongs. They are a bit awkward to use, they don't pick up food easily, because of the plastic tong ends.

these stay cool even when they are by a hot pan or hot plate even when dipped in to our fryers. they are holding up great.

My old tongs did not have the coated grip like these do. I purchased these for our home use also because they’re coated so that they don’t scratch pots and pans. You could use them to cook with, or even with warming dishes and chafers at holiday meals since they are high heat capable. The coated handle also allows you to rest on the rim of a hot pan without getting hot to the touch.

Good tool for a great price. Good for use with teflon surfaces, but doesn't grab as well as scalloped tongs in my opinion. If working with lots of teflon, I'd recommend it

This is great for my grill, the 12" long tongs are rated for high temperatures which allow me to use on my grill with no concern with damaging the utensil.

The tongs with the nylon tip are really nice. I have noticed that it does not bite into the bread or waffle like so many others do and it also gives it a little extra grip to to hold onto the items.

Very nice, a lil pricey but they are definitely ergonomically correct. Feel very nice and hold anything nicely with our applying a lot of pressure and risk messing up the item

maybe I am now a Vollrath believer? But everything I bought that is made by this company has been well made and seems like it will last a long time!

A little more fiddly than I expected - the short length isn't compensated for at the joint and you have to squeeze pretty hard to get a grip - they also do not lock for storage, remember - but if the temp resistance is to be believed, I can see myself relying on these for tortillas, naan and other flatbreads.

These tongs are pretty good, they won't scratch any of your non-stick pans and they are very handy. They are reasonably priced for their quality.

This is a very nice tong,the extra lenght is perfect keep hands away from the heat of the stove and grill,the coated handle stays cool to touch and is very light not heavy.

I love these tongs because of the grip. They never slip out of your hands and they are extremely durable. I am thinking about switching all of our tongs to these! Love them and they are super affordable.

I bought this to use with my Le Creuset pans. I like the nylon ends more than the silicon ended tongs. I'm not a fan of the nylon joint. I prefer the traditional joint on tongs. I wish i would have bought the longer pair.

I needed these because I fry a lot of tortillas for enchiladas. I have been using old fashioned "hot dog" tongs and it was time to upgrade. I like these because they can withstand the heat, I am not having the tearing problems like with the old ones. I'm just getting so spoiled. Then again when you have the proper tools everything is easier and comes out so much better!

I have used these tongs for 2+ years, and they are very nice. The coating is not heat-proof, but it is heat resistant. I have inadvertently melted these in a couple places...the heat leaves a little indentation, but the tongs remain usable. Overall, a very good product.

These are wonderful for getting things out of pots like hot dogs, or boiled eggs without reaching into or pouring out your hot water! I was am pleased!

I ordered these to serve chicken breasts from the 8 qt chafing pans I ordered - they look attractive and are long enough to avoid falling into the pan and people possibly burning themselves on the chafer, which was the whole point. I ordered a set for each pan, so that people could serve themselves from each side of the table. I love this store!
