Good product

Something I really like is the scalloped grip, which holds the food securely without crushing it or letting it slip. Another detail you notice in daily use is the one-piece, springless design, which makes them very easy to clean and prevents food residue from building up in joints—something that’s really important in a busy kitchen.

easy to use and wash. love the color! super handy when cooking multiple items as well, so you don’t cross contaminate. perfect for our little kitchen! we bought three!

The tongs are made of a resistant material but are very wide which makes difficult to close and collect small items. They are efficient but not for the purpose intended when bought.

We needed some tongs that had the coating to help with regular tongs getting too hot. We like this tong because there is no spring you have to worry about breaking or falling off into food. Being able to get different colored ones is very nice as well!

Great tongs if you need something to withstand high heats. I use my nylon-tipped ones more often, but if you're not concerned about scratching whatever your'e cooking on or you're dealing with higher temperatures, these are fantastic. The nylon coating keeps them cool, but I think the metal would only heat up if you were using them for extended periods near intense heat. My favorite feature is the lack of a hinge. It makes it impossible to pinch your palm when using them (as I often do with other tongs). They don't lock closed, which takes up more space but makes them easier to grab and use with one hand. If you're working over radiant heat, like a grill, you might want to go for something longer than 12" though.

These tongues are ok. They get the job done. However I would Have preferred the ends not be so sharp. They tend to tear the meat. I also wish the grip Was a bit tighter.

Great tongs for saute or fry stations. I prefer spring loaded tongs for grill stations if you use grill weights, since they bear the weight a bit better, but these ones from Vollrath are a little sturdier than off brand models, and while they might not work as well as spring loaded for that particular application, I still tend to trust I won't drop a stack of steak weights. Coating held up very well.

It is a bit too short to be useful for cooking. And it requires constant, high level of clamping force. I am a 6 ft male and I still complain. I purchased both the 6'' tong and the 9.5'' tong, the 9.5 is much better in terms of its length and ability to clamp food

These are a great set of Tongs we purchased a few different pairs and got the first set and I just love using them on the sauté and grill station they are awesome.

What an amazing product for using to with the fryer. We fry a variety of products and the black coating has held up and shows no signs of cracking.

What is good: high-quality silicone pens. Excellent grip. No rolling shutter and pinch. Another silicone on the end of the handle - does not allow to burn.

16" is a REALLY long tong and feels great in the hand. You can reach deep into a big grill with this thing, or get something out of the fridge in your kitchen while you're on the couch watching TV. Like all Jacobs Pride tongs, it is easy to clean and the handles really do stay cool.

These Vollrath tongs are by far the best tongs we have used. They are nice and stiff and the handles are comfortable and cool. This 12" size works great to grab things on the charbroiler or griddle. Would purchase again!

These Vollrath 12 inch tongs have become my all time favorite tongs ever, it wasn't easy shelling out the extra money but after the hinged mechanical kept falling apart, we gave it a go, and here we are 2 years later and they're perfect.

I have used one pair now for the last two years and the are still in great shape. I would highly recommend these tongs for anybody working in a high volume kitchen.

These work as they should, Kool Touch handle is a real thing and it works. The coated portion is cracked at the edges now but they aren't falling off, my usage of these with high heat is HIGH

I like having these for certain applications where locking tongs may be too harsh on the product. Also less chance of breaking unlike locking tongs which the springs can break after only a few months. The recoil on these may give out eventually but at least you don't have to worry about employees inadvertently breaking them prematurely

Great product that I will be purchasing more of again soon. They hold up to the daily beatings and even when fishing stuff out of the fryer they stay cool to the touch unlike some of the all stainless ones.

It was important to us to be able to color co-ordinate where tongs would be used and what food type to go with. This really helps.

Purchased item to replace worn ones used on hot bar. The older ones were the same brand and held up to years of abuse in a commercial environment. These hold up very well.

the quality of these vollrath are the best. yes you pay little more. they do last longer than other brands. i use these for bbq grill and serving.

Nice quality, very short, tongs. I like them for pulling from 1/6 pans of ingredients. They clean up easily and are of a thick enough steel to feel sturdy. I would buy them again.

Great tongs for any use. The hold up well to high heat and flame (minus the handle coating as expected). Handle does stay cool even when I know the metal tong area is hot.

This tong is the perfect size for our bakery. It is very sturdy and won't break like the plastic tongs if you use a little too much pressure. Great for our bakery bars.

These tongs are not that expensive the plastic layer makes it not hot for Example If there is a medal tong without the piece of plastic on something hot it would burn you but the plastic stops that

Best tong ever! I used it for my grill and I must say, it's a very powerful kethen utensil! The handle stays cool even around high temperatures. The stainless steel portion helps it hold any food without breaking apart. Great tong, highly recommend it!

Bought this Vollrath green tongs to replace my 6” tongs that I found a little too short and stiff for my hand. I used this for my broccoli side dishes and I bough a few other tongs as well in different colors so I don’t get them mixed up for different uses

These are awesome scalloped tongs. The rubber coating does work, and there is no space for bacteria growth. Vollrath products are great, we buy Vollrath anytime we can. Some of the cheaper brands lose the stiffness quality of the tongs at the 'joint' if you will. But these are much sturdier. Pay the extra dollar or two, it's worth it.
