I am very pleased with the quality of this skillet. I wanted a larger caast iron plan for searing chicken and then having the ability to finish the chicken in the oven. I know the skillet can pre-seasoned, however i seasoned the skillet with oil after the first cleaning. I used grapeseed oil and coated the pan and left the pan in the oven for 45 minutes at 400. Then i cooked some chopped bacon in the skillet to start the first layer of "natural" non-sticksurface. Then i used the skillet as normal.

I bought this one for the house with a 17 and 18 year old. Finally a skillet we can cook enough chops for family of 4 without having to cook 4 chops in two rounds. We have an oversized burner on glass cooktop that this pan obviously out sizes but properly heated you won't notice due to a great even heating by cast iron. Yes it's heavy as **** but the two handle loops make it a cinch. Also, because there are handle loops over the single handle you are less likely to accidentally grab the handle out of hot oven without a mitt. It's a psychology thing. It happens and we've all done it once lol. I'll tend not to do that in the future in busy moments. Great design and great size if you are sick of watching your family eat while you cook round 2 for that extra piece that won't fit in typical home settings. Actual leftovers or 2nd helping for young men in a family of 4 or more.

Not much to say. Heavy cast iron beast, you get exactly that. Make sure to season. Mine isn't quite flat, so it dries out more dead center while the edges taper down and to the side and catch extra oil. Fine, but if you are cooking flat breads, this will matter.

Nice pan good quality good for one person cooking I like to cook a steak in it or some chicken perfect for this type of use

A must have for skillets of all sorts. You can put it inside an oven too. Just make sure you put on a pair of mittens. Make sure to season this thing before the first use and after each use.

We are a high volume caterer and we use cast irons every day. These are such a great find. We use these on stations and the have a much better look compared to the one handle skillets. The size is great! We are very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend.

This is a great pan at a fantastic price. It goes from stovetop to oven easily - it heats up fast and retains heat well. Be careful what you cook in here! I cooked a meal with a lot of sugar and it was a pain to clean

Love this cast iron skillet and it was such a great price! You definitely have to season it so it doesn't stick so much, but once it's seasoned it works great!
