I could not use these containers. I used one to test out my food and they leaked within 15 minutes. The entire bottom was wet and was starting to sag. It was also difficult to close. Returning. The item is cute, sized as described, and otherwise fair quality. I just do not recommend for hot or sauced items.

First of all, the size and cost is great for my little corporate deli. However, when one is eating out of them, if they are holding it on one side verses the other side, it will easily squeeze the opening into a small rectangular space to grab your food out of. However, this seems to just be an issue with hot/warm foods and not an issue at all with a lighter weight 1/2 salad- which is how I'm using them now. I've purchased several similar items from this manufacturer and while the outside glued folds make them cheaper to purchase, they do have and impact depending on how you use them.
