The Rubbermaid 1777191 Cake Keeper is a nice sturdy and well priced basic cake keeper made for monster sized cakes. Seriously this thing is big and really only for 9+" multi-layer cakes and bundt cakes. Rubbermaid is a quality manufacturer and the plastic is nice and sturdy that is should take some punishment and last many years, or decades ahead. The only downsides are that its a very basic cake keeper, no clasps or securing mechanisms. The top simply pops onto the bottom and stays on via pressure. This works fine for the most part. It's roughly the same size as the Wilton Cake Keeper with a more uniform, less slanter top.

I use it every time I bake a cake. Great for storage, Keeps cake fresh for frosting later, keeping left overs, and for transporting cakes.

This is one of the few 'cake keepers' that I've found, tall enough to hold a multilayer (more than 2) cake easily. This unit seals well, easy to hear "click" and does not leak air (like many do). Sturdy plastic has not cracked...even after constant use. The bottom has not 'deformed'... NOTE: I have not put this in the dishwasher...have not idea how that would work.

Great storage for the fridge or transportation. The only thing I would complain about is that it is too big. I usually do 9 inch cake boards and it sort of slides around in the container. I would recommend taping the board down inside the container.

Cake keepers are a must in the restaurant business. These cake keepers are big enough to hold a cake and have room around it so you don't have to worry about the top touching the sides or the top of the cake. The lids stay on and keep a tight seal.

This fits the bill for keeping a tall cake covered without touching the icing. This item is well made & easy to keep clean in dish washer.

The cake keeper is decent and does the job. The lid easily pops off when the keeper is held by the edges because the weight of the cakes will cause the bottom to bow. It could be a bit bigger also but it certainly works for smaller cakes or cupcakes,

These are made of sturdy plastic and are great at storing cakes, they seal tight. It kept my cakes fresh until and intact until I was ready to use them.

It is made of heavy plastic and is good quality. Good for tall cakes, keeps them fresh. Doesn't seem to snap closed, which would be nice but it works for me.

I sometimes have trouble snapping the top on. The box is heavy duty and protects the cakes very well except for the top not always being on the bottom piece.

Great price, good quality plastic. My only complaint is the lid doesn't not fit very securely. if i am storing a cake in the fridge and worried about freshness i have to cover the whole container with plastic wrap to ensure its completely sealed.

Great for storing our cakes in the kitchen fridge. It keeps the cake from taking on the flavors of other items in the fridge - onions, etc. Will definitely get more as needed!

I love these cake bins. Unlike a lot of other ones on the market, the sides to this lid are high so it doesn't scrape the frosting on top of your cake.

I love this cake keeper and the price at Webstaurant is much better than what I found elsewhere. It's bulky but I tend to make tall layer cakes so this is an excellent height and keeps the cake protected. If I had one wish, it would be that there was some type of latch to insure the top doesn't get knock up against the cake when moving. But it does wedge down fairly securely onto the base so it has only been an issue when we've refrigerated a cake with some type of cream filling and something else in the fridge has knocked up against it.

Not a huge baker but when the mood struck a this has been a lifesaver! Especially easy to use and great for transporting baked goods to family parties. It's a wonderful addition to any kitchen.

This is a great solution for transporting cakes of most sizes. I am especially happy with the ability to carry a tall cake. Just make sure to secure the lid all the way.

This is a very good Rubbermaid Kate keep or delete snaps on nice and tight it fits my 10 inch cheesecake no problem with room to spare and I like the tall light on it

Very sturdy and with a lot of space for an 8 and 10 inch cake. Perfect when you dont want to waste a cardboard box, the only con is takes a lot of space

I was looking for a cake container for a while, and none of them were tall enough for the cakes I make most often, but finally this one was! It's pretty sturdy, and washes really easily, the only con for me is that I wish it had a handle, but other than that its a pretty top notch purchase.

Nice simple Rubbermaid Cake keeper. The real nice thing is that's its better price then we pay from big box stores. It has a nice tight seal that helps keep air out and our cakes stay fresher and stay moist.

Very easy to use when you need to transport cakes. It's also lightweight so it doesn't add a lot of bulk. I have used this for numerous homemade cakes without any issues, but have also placed cupcakes, tarts, pies and even cookies in it!

I have several vintage Tupperware cake takers, yet I find myself reaching for this one over and over again.
