I had about 7 years of daily use out of this before it went bad. Think I got my moneys worth. Definitely recommend and can put enough salad in there to make at least ten entree salads.

if you need to wash greens in large quantities, this giant salad spinner can't be beat. it's a pretty standard fixture in most big volume kitchens and with good reason. it's very sturdy and reliable.

As a CSA farmer I handle a LOT of salad greens and removing excess water after hydrocooling/washing greens is really challenging. This spinner is perfect for our mid-size vegetable farm. We use it for all of our salad mixes and braising mixes. It is not big enough or gentle enough to manage whole heads of lettuce, but it is quick and easy for loose leaf mixes. An added bonus: we are currently in the process of becoming GAP certified (a farm food safety certification that makes it easier for small farmers to work with local schools, hospitals, etc.) and the GAP auditors pay very close attention to greens handling, as greens are a particularly high risk crop in terms of food born illness. This spinner is easy to sanitize and (obviously) intended for food handling, unlike the make shift modified washing machines and/or mesh bags a lot of small farms use for greens.

We've tried a few brands of salad spinner and this one seems to last the longer. The gears strip out very quickly in other models. The salad spinner is a must have for any restaurant that cuts its lettuce fresh. This gets all the water off which not only makes the lettuce crisper but helps extend the shelf life.

Fantastic and works just like your home salad spinner. If you serve salad in large quantity this is the best product, you can store lettuce in it overnight and it stays fresh. We also use it with a little vinegar and water to clean fruit, couple spins and we know it's all clean and stays fresh longer.

We have gone without a salad spinner for a while and it is so nice having an item like this. We rinse and cut cilantro, and being able to dry the cilantro with a few quick spins has saved us a lot of time. The hand brake is a nice feature as well.

This thing is the best! We put up with cheap household type salad spinners, breaking every few months, then I came across this one from the Webstaurant. You can rinse lettuce and spinach in no time. It's easy to cleanup too!

We put 2 -3 cases of chopped romaine lettuce through this every day. It works wonders. I've tried different brands, but this one lasts longer and works better. I am finally purchasing a new spinner a year and a half since my last one. If anyone's doing the math, that's well over 1,00 cases of romaine lettuce that this spinner has handled before needing to be replaced. I highly recommend it for anyone doing large quantities of salad. Spend the few extra bucks. It's worth it.

I don't use a salad spinner occasionally. It that once in a week item I use in my catering. I use it for lettuce. Some of my clients request it, and I make the salad for them with this. It is good for homeowner. But the inconvenience of putting it in a drain or sink makes it hard for me to use. A caterers sink is ALWAYS being used nonstop. It just doesnt cut it for me. And you will need a large enough sink.

This was not as good of quality as I was expecting. The 5gallon version broke within a week. Im cautious of this one as well.

I bought this monster salad spinner mainly to dry lettuce mix for the farmers market. Though I no longer sell lettuce mix, the spinner still comes in handy for drying other produce items after washing. I use it for drying hot peppers or any other light weight fresh produce. The spinner is solidly constructed and works well, but is a little unwieldy when full loaded. I usually need to wedge it between my feet to keep if from running away from me. Also, the drain hose at the bottom tends to come loose, so I just added a zip tie to keep the hose in place. With these shortcomings in mind, I still think this spinner is a good value if you have a large volume of lettuce to dry.

A necessity in any kitchen serving large quantities of salads, something we do daily. We use this every day and have never had an issue with the brakes or any part of it.

This is a workhorse for processing high volumes of greens. I looked at other models elsewhere that were 4x the cost - don't waste your money. I have used mine for 3 years and it is still going strong.

I REALLY RECOMMEND YOU THIS DRYER, I USE IT FOR DRY LETTUCE. THE PLASTIC THAT ITS MADE IS VERY RESISTANT AND HYGIENIC. IF YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY BUY IT.

This is a high quality salad spinner. I wish the price was a little lower but it makes quick work when rinsing off romaine lettuce crowns for our sandwich station.

It seems a little bit expensive for what you get, and doesn't do a perfect job of eliminating water, but if you're intent on fresh chopped romaine or fresh herbs, this tool is a must.

Great salad spinner for restaurants that make a lot of salads! Works very well, just make sure you have the lettuce evenly distributed or it will shake pretty violently. Works best with two people. (one holding the bin and the other cranking it)
