This non-stick waffle maker REALLY IS non-stick. I have a habit of still spraying grills that claim to be non-stick because i usually don't trust it. But with this maker, the waffle simply pops right off when it's done. We were looking for a waffle maker to make thin (non-Belgian style) waffles. This makes .5 in waffles, the thinnest we've found.
