Reviews for Choice 9, 12, 16, 20, and 24 oz. Clear Sip-Through Lid with Extra-Wide Opening - 1,000/Case

Webstaurant should not be selling these lids. I already threw away 6 cases of. these worthless lids. Webstaurant should be doing the same. Believe all the reviews on this failed item. The machining is just wrong. I will, and can not sugar coat this item. Again, do not purchase these. Stick with the choice flat lid with straw slot. Lids will not satisfy, idea is great. Sizing is not.

I should have listened to other negative reviews about the lids that don't fit before my ordering. I used Choice 16oz cold cups (the cheaper version), the flat lids with staw slot, and the Dome lid all the time. They all fitted pretty well and worked very well too. Well, as I expected these lids had very bad quality control. I opened the case and took a sleeve of the lids out. Then I tried them on my new Choice HD 16oz cold cups. Guess what, 5 out of 10 just covered the cup, not even made any snap sound. I could just shake the lid right off the cup. So loose! The other 5 were loose too, just a little bit better, I would not trust them to serve my customers. I really really really wanted to like these lids, and I really wanted the reviews to be wrong, but unfortunately they aren't. The last case was so bad that we ended up having to basically match lids to cups at the beginning of each day to make sure that we had ones that wouldn't pop off. It is really unfortunate. And Now I have multiple cases of cups without lids to go with them.

I don’t know why everyone is going on about in these reviews. These are a solid affordable quality lid, I’ve used I’ve 3000 and maybe 3 of them have had a bit of damage around an edge.

We chose to ignore a lot of the reviews and ordered these lids hoping to go strawless at our coffee shop. It turns out that ignoring the reviews was a mistake. Many of the lids do not properly fit onto their corresponding cups. I will waste a good 3-5 of these lids looking for ones that will actually click on. By the time that I find one, the fit is very loose. The slightest pressure put on the cup will pop the lid off. Many of our customers have had spills or near misses because of these lids. We figured maybe it was the cup that we bought, so we upgraded to stronger cups, but that didn’t help. Avoid this product. It is not worth the money and it is not worth the loss of customers.

Buy these lids... if you want your customers to dump coffee all over themselves. They are inconsistently sized and do not fit snugly on the 20oz or 24oz sizes.

Dont get it! Purchased 5000 various cup sizes and lids to match from "Choice" and they do not close tight. I could confidently say that 99% of the lids dont fit, Leaks all over, lids come off, etc. (And yes its the correct cup/lid) Just invest more money and get SOLO products. Horrible

Really want this product to work but unfortunately it does not consistently. The lids pop off with very little resistance. I have had several customers complain about spilled drinks as a result.

I really wish I read the reviews before I purchased these. The lids don't fit the cups and alot seem to be warped. I definitely was not satisfied with them.

Very inconsistent. Lids do not fit at all in some cases resulting in a large amount of wasted product. Lids are manufactured inconsistently - would not recommend purchasing these lids.

Possibly a bad batch? Half thrown in the trash and a few fit. Very disappointed that Webstrauant just said that sometimes they are not compatible (which doesn't make sense when we have ordered before). They are too expensive to just throw away and we certainly do not want people spilling drinks on themselves because of poor quality products!

Horrible. It’s not right. pop open so easy and licks. If not for the low price I would have asked for refund.

They DO NOT FIT the regular choice plastic cups, nor any regular plastic cup that you buy. DO NOT BUY IT. It´s a waist of money, The wont take it back!!!!!!

We constantly check every lid that’s set on a cup to ensure it fits correctly and end up throwing away close to 25% of these lids. It’s a huge time and money waste. I encourage anyone looking at these lids to spend a bit more money and purchase a quality cup/lid combo.

I wish I would have read the reviews first. I am having the same issue with the 20 oz and 24 oz cups. The lids DO NOT fit snug and pop off causing spills. I contact a representative and was told to send a video of the issue I am having. REALLY?! A video? Look at the reviews and see there is an issue with these lids! These 2 sizes are my highest selling, now I have to purchase different lids for the 20 and 24 ounce so my customers don't end up wearing their drink.

I should have read ALL of the other reviews about this product :( The lids do not fit the suggested Choice 16oz or 20oz clear cold cups well at all. They do not fit securely and pop off creating lots of spills and unhappy customers! Not to mention the waste!!

We use this lid with EcoChoice 12 oz., 16 oz., and 24oz. PLA Compostable Plastic Cold Cups. We used to also use the slightly cheaper version of the choice cups. The lids fit ALL of these cups consistently. I'm seeing reviews where people have had some troubles, and that's not been our case at all. We go through about 500 cups a week consistently, and the lids work great.

We love the fact that this Sip Lid can go strawless. Our customer loves it. It helps reducing the usage of straw. I'm thankful for that.

Very happy with these lids. I will use them to replace our flat and dome lids as there is enough clearance above the rim of the cup to add whipped cream. I love that the lid is sealed until the customer opens it and they can close it again if they wise. I'm very happy with the size of the sipper hole as many I have seen in the past are just too large and prone to spills. Lid has a nice seal and a great price! Hoping to save some money on the compostable straws we've switched to with these new lids. Customer reactions have been very positive as well. Thank you for adding these!

The lids snap on but it's not secure as the other sip lids without the tab. We've noticed that customers and staff had spilled their drinks more often with this type of lid. We've also been using the same cups we've always been using. We won't be purchasing these again unless it's been resolved.

this lid can not fit the 24oz cup at all, plz avoid this product. I bought the 24oz cup and lid from webrestaurant and the lid can not fit, this seller need check their products and stop selling it

Awful and embarrassing to give to customers. The lids crack constantly and the flip tab is often not perforated correctly so when you pull on it, the whole lid cracks. I guess these are the least expensive on here for a reason.

This lids are the worst! I wish it was possible to put zero stars. Basically some lids stay on and most pop off. Webstaurant store needs to stop selling these for its wasting people money.

The Lids do NOT NOT fit the cup good like it states. I own a coffee shop and I changed to these cups and it was a big big mistake. the customers are spilling them. The staff cant keep the lids on the cups. I would not buy these

These are NOT efficient lids with the recommended cup. Very disappointed and don’t recommend at all. Now I have to reorder lids.

These lids are HORRIBLE! First of all people can't figure out how they work and push the tab down. Second they fit so loosely that almost all my customers have the lid just fly off and spill their expensive organic, cold-pressed juice they just bought from me! I have used these before but their quality control has gone down the toilet!!!!! webstaurantstore should not be selling these and should issue everyone who purchased them a full refund with shipping! I use these on both 12 & 16oz cups for our Italian sodas, iced coffees, and smoothies. I like the opening for drinking, but they don't go on super easily & they don't fit as tightly as I'd like. I ordered them because my normal ones weren't available; I probably won't order them again.

These lids are great for items that you won't be using a straw with! They go onto the cups tightly. I am very glad the maker thinks unconventionally and made a lid with no straw slot!

Do NOT buy. Great concept and perhaps will eventually be ready for prime time. But as many other say, these lids are a mixed bag with some fitting cups tightly and then others from the same case popping off cups. We had to throw away half a case because of this and it's a bad look in front of customers to be struggling to find a lid that'll fit. Bizarre that Choice cannot manufacturer these lids to fit their own cups properly.

I wish the fitting on these lids were consistent. I've had back luck with them recently, they tend to pop off the cups with just the slightest pressure when picking up the cups.

These lids look and feel good, And when they fit the cup they're nice and secure however they don't always fit the cup (particularly the HD) Have had numerous accidents with staff, and a few near misses with customers. Due to the lack of consistency in the fitment I cannot recommend this product.

What a mess. Lids do not fit the cups. Customers upset because lids are coming off the drink getting all over them. Had to pay for some dry cleaning bills. Company really needs to fix this problem.

Love this lid... for some reason lids for 9oz cups are incredibly hard to find we searched all over and finally found these for our desserts!

These lids are just what we needed for our layered cold brews! All of our customers love them and they fit the 16 oz and 24 oz cups well!

We have been getting these for around 3-4 months and the quality of them has gone down significantly.. Some don’t click onto cups, some come undone, and some are just straight up deformed.

These lids are perfect for our donut holes when we get them in the shop. It helps them last longer and not get dry when we put them in our cups as grab n go options
