It holds bags well and the bags are easy to remove. The lever hasn't broken for me yet and that's an issue I had with other trashcans I've purchased since four people were usin one of these for all the kitchen garbage

This 12 gallon trashcan is perfect for the kitchen area. this is a step on trash can, which opens the lid every time. I never have any issues with the lid not coming open properly. or not closing right. great can!
