Reviews for Chef Master .5 Liter Whipped Cream Dispenser

We have been using two of these dispensers in our restaurant for over two years with no problems. I noticed that some reviewers have rated the product poorly and have several complaints, but here's the deal: Some folks have bought the 1 liter dispenser for home use...that a lot of whipped cream! If it was purchased for home use or for an establishment that doesn't use it much, that is not a reason to rate it poorly. We have NEVER had a problem with the valve leaking (not that it can't happen, but it hasn't happened to us after extensive, prolonged use). Some have complained about the whipped cream not having good consistency, but there could be several factors there. Did they use two canisters of N2O? What was the quality of the cream and other ingredients? Was their "mix" too watery to begin with? We make perfectly whipped cream in several flavors, including adding liqueurs, and have always had great results. One of the best products we've ordered from Webstaurantstore and would highly recommend, especially given the price.

Not a fan. This dispenser worked fairly well for the first few months or so but it started to leak whipped cream and nitrogen out the top seal. We thought maybe we didn’t have the seal on correct or the lid wasn’t tight but even when put together correctly and screwed on tightly it still leaked. The whipped cream was also not consistent unfortunately. Very disappointed.

Dont buy this unless you plan on using it a few times! Ours broke after 15 days of use, the seals break and wont hold a charge

Normally use isi whippers for a variety of things but needed something just for simple whipped cream so I thought I would go cheaper. Big mistake. This is a waste of money and loses pressure very quickly. Stick with isi

We purchased four of these in May and they are now sitting in a box on a shelf. They are unreliable. Save yourself and your crew a headache and buy an ISI half liter one.

This broke in less than a week. The gasket broke and it does't hold pressure. The CO2 leaks right out and it's inoperable. I wouldn't recommend.

I would recommend the .5L over the 1L, as its much easier to handle. The .5L is still a nice size. You must purchase the n20 cartridges. You should read the directions carefully as they do require assembly. Also, do not fill to the top with cream (must leave some room for air).

IMPOSSIBLE to open. Every time we empty the whipped cream we have it sit by the sink until somebody has the muscle power and strategy to manage to get the lid off. It is SO DIFFICULT. And this has been a consistent issue no matter who screws on the lid. The threads aren't well made. I have an isi brand one at the other shop and have never had this issue. Will NEVER buy off brand again. I wish I could return this and get my money back. What a waste! It's such a hassle for me and my employees. Occasionally the whipped cream will go runny on us and not hold the charge but for the most part it just gets stuck and we can't get it open to clean it and make a new batch

This container has helped so much. We were going through so much whipped cream and with this one it stores so much more to where we don't have to keep refilling it as much.

Such a waste of money. Bought two and both broke within a month. The main issue is with the seal/gasket.

Works great for whipped cream and hollandaise. We pack it on river trips so it's gets pretty beat up, but it still working great after a year of use.

The concept of a charger is pretty simple, so you would think that buying this instead of an iSi would be perfectly fine. Wrong! Something happens to these things after 2-3 uses, and they will not work at all. Complete junk

It works. The qualuty is lacking. Within a few weeks i noticed the inside of the botytle stsrted having issues. The gaskets shown in picture are not great quality either. It works maybe bettee suited for light use or home not a high volume setting.

Worked for about a month, then started leaking from the top seal. Tried contacting Chef Master twice with no reply. I would not reccommend,

I have read instructions watched several videos and can't get this to do anything more than just squirt out cold cream. I am following instructions and using the Chef Master cylinders but to no avail. I don't know if it is defective or just a pain to get this to work but so far this has been a waste of time and energy. I do not recommend this item.

No issues with the canisters. They make great whipped cream!

Do not buy this product it needs to be recalled . It blew up in my wife's hand . She shook it and then it blew up and launched itself into the ceiling. If she had been holding it differently it would have killed her

Easy to setup and use. Easy to clean. Charging this is a breeze and usage is simple enough for anyone to work with this unit.

Love it. Used is this morning for breakfast. made a whipped cream and maple syrup cream for pancakes and sausage. guest loved it too. Will buy again

So great! I bought one of these a little while ago and just now got around to using it. It's really convenient and easy to use!

A little hard to use at first, but once you get the hang of it the dispensers works as advertised. Would highly recommend this product.

These are very clean looking whipped cream dispensers. We replaced the stainless steel looking ones, and these look so much nicer. Our baristas and customers think they are the coolest thing!

this is a great cream whipper, it is easy to use and easy to take apart to clean. over all great price and very well made for the price.

this literally makes whipped cream in seconds and keeps the whipped cream the perfect texture while it’s in the fridge. also keeps it very cold

I love this whip cream dispenser. It's a great size to travel with. If you have an event somewhere else or even entertaining guess and want to seem fancy and have a whip cream dispenser this is the perfect one to have. I love it and I def. Use it to show off at my get togethers lol.

These whip cream dispensers are easy to use and keep clean. They're the perfect size for our cafe and a great value for the money.

I really like this. It takes about 2 chargers, even if its only half filled. I do wish it was a little easier to clean.

We use this dispenser to make fresh whipped cream on a daily basis for our Milkshakes. Works great, easy to clean (we tear them apart fully). Fits into our underbar cooler well. We use them daily and they have worked and held up well.

This whipped cream dispenser is perfect for our busy ice cream shop! We started with 2 1-L dispensers and recently purchased two more. Each one leader dispenser requires two nitrogen chargers. Our customers rave about the taste of fresh whipped cream compared to the stuff you can buy premade in aerosol cans. We have never had an issue with our units. We highly recommend this product to anyone!

We love our whipped cream dispenser! We use it to make coconut whipped cream at our vegan coffee shop. The white color is nice too.

Great if you want to make them custom! Cut out vinyl and put my company logo the staff thought i had it custom made, no just got this and a $2 vinyl sheet.

This is the first time I've ever used one of these things and I made a huge mess. I used up 3 cartridges just trying to figure it out despite reading and following the directions. The first go round I hadn't read the directions and installed the cartridge before screwing the lid to the canister... Stupid I know. The second time the cream was liquidy and sprayed out like the jet setting on a shower head. After vigorously shaking it the whipped cream was as it should be. The third time a co-worker had complained that it didn't work and again was liquidy so I made the mistake of opening the canister and cream exploded all over the place. I gave it 4 stars despite everything because I definitely feel it was operator error. I put a mix of cream, vanilla, and powdered sugar in it and it worked fine and was tasty. I just made sure to whisk out the lumps in the sugar.

Great for flavored whipped cream! Stays cold, stands out against the normal stainless steel so I can easily identify it as flavored. Comes with several tips. Easy to clean.

This whipped cream dispenser is easy to use and clean. As well as the smaller size makes it fit perfectly in our fridge when not in use.

These are great. we ordered two of them. They are very sturdy aluminum built. Three choices for tips. They are so much better than storebought whipped cream.

love it once you get the nag of how to use it@! we top smootheis and lattes withj whipped cream with ease now and it still is our homemade, no Ready Whip here!!
