This worked great for about 6 months and then we got a short circuit that caused a fire inside of the ice machine due to a bad ground cable. I would not buy this machine again especially with the terrible customer support that was given by IceOmatic.

I bought this in April and after 2 months it quit making ice. Handling the warranty has been totally put on me to find a repair company. I have dialed seven service companies and none of them will work on it because I'm out of their service area. It's sad that companies just want to sell products instead of following through with warranty issues. I literally have nowhere to turn to get this machine fixed unless I can find someone that will drive an hour to service it. I now will be without it for, at least, 2 weeks at my business.

Works as expected but when it needs to refill its LOUD. If using in the front of house I would recommend getting a different icemaker but works well if it will be in the back of house and don't mind the noise.

We have had it in operation for over a year and it works as advertised. I've never had good luck with ice makers and it seems when one goes down it takes a while to get the parts in to fix them, so I adopted the idea that I would place a smaller unit next to each station smoothie, coffee, etc and that way i would not have to trans port ice and if one failed I was not with out an ice make as I could take ice from the others.
