This is an effective product that I use for both liquids and dry goods. Sifting flour, dusting powdered sugar, straining sauces; this double mesh strainer is very versatile. Four stars, only because of how easily it rusts. Even after shaking it dry and wiping with a paper towel after use, it still began to rust after a couple months. Not a major concern since I have it for home use, but something to be considered. Overall I am satisfied with this product, would buy again.
Strainer works perfectly for quinoa. I purchased this specifically to rinse the grains without them falling through the mesh, and this mesh is perfectly tight enough to prevent the small grains from passing through.
This double mesh strainer works gets, and catches everything we need it to while straining our beverages. It washes out nicely...just don't soak for long to keep from rusting.
This is a really nice sifter; my only complaint has to be the wood handle. It holds up well, and isn't a major problem, I just don't love porous materials in our dish area.
Four stars only because its a little flimsy, but for the price, it's quite nice. They stack so they are easy to store too. Thanks Tablecraft!
I use this fine mesh strainer for straining my cold brew. It works great. No coffee grounds make it through the holes, and that is enough for me to be happy with this product.
I like this strainer but I do find the rust taste and coloring can never be washed perfectly so thats why I didn't give it a 5 star review
Well, these strainers are great. I didn’t know what to expect when I ordered it, but with the double mesh, only what you want gets through! I ordered both the fine and medium strainers and they are now they go to strainers in my kitchen.
I could not believe the price of this strainer. I use it to strain my raspberry sauce, it works as well as those other kitchen over priced strainers. It is really well made!
THis fine mesh strainer is a great size for commercial kitchen use . Can strain pulp from juice or you can use it to drain juice
I love the size of this strainer, just what I wanted. I was disappointed that it wasn't as fine as I thought it would be though. I have seen some strainers that have two actual layers of mesh to create a very tight weave and I thought that is what this would be like. It is just one layer of mesh. It is still a nice strainer - but if you plain on straining lemon juice, much of the pulp will still get through.

The Tablecraft 6 1/4" Fine Tin Double Mesh Strainer works great and it is long lasting. It is versatile and very durable. It is also dishwasher safe.
What a really nice 6 1/4 inch find 10 double match strainer really like this a lot and it works great it's very strong and durable
Wow this fine – strainer – double mesh strainer is really strong durable and inexpensive I really like it it's very fine for the straining some of those very fine ingredients out
Works great! I got this to sift through flour to get rid of clumps and it does the job like a charm. It is extremely sturdy.
This is a very good quality strainer. I use this for straining sauces to remove sprigs of herbs, garlic cloves, etc. A must have for any kitchen.
In every kitchen there are many strainers. Mine were really old and i wanted to renew them. It was very good price in webstaurantstore compared to local places in town
Very very durable and surprisingly not that hard to clean. The double layer makes it great for sifting flour or sugar and works as it should. Much better than anything I've ever seen in person.
This little guy is strong! We really like the size and how stiff it is. The two mesh strainers really add strength. You can put alot of weight on it without any bend. Strains very fine.
This fine double mesh strainer is great. I use it when making boiled or cooked flour butter creams. I also plan to use it for mirror glazes.
Works great for filtering everything. I use it for making stock, filters out the small bones, fat, skin, without clogging up and it's easy to clean.
I really like having strainers in different sizes for different size jobs. These are great for both dry goods and liquids like stocks. And they have a really sturdy construction so you can abuse them and they hold up really well
Like it's 8" counter-part the strainer is decently made. Works well enough but I wouldn't use them for anything other than light or medium-duty. Not bad for the price all things considered.
Great for catching all the smaller particles when making sauces or syrups, and washes easily in the dishwasher. Loop style side hooks make for multiple spots to hang this in the configuration that's right for your work area.
The Tablecraft 82 6 1/4" Fine Tin Double Mesh Strainer is well constructed, and a great value. It is a sturdy and versatile fine sieve strainer that will see a great deal of use in my kitchen.
This is great for fine straining. I would have given it 5 stars it it would go through the dishwasher. If you pull it out before the drying cycle you have no problems. if you don't the wood gets very dry and the ring that holds the mesh to the handle till rust. I found that quick spray with the spray at the kitchen sink with hot water cleans things with little effort, then shake and let air dry.
What I love the most is the mesh is smaller and so it doesnt let things go through. I use this primarily to strain my lemons, limes and oranges to remove the pulp from my made from scratch laundry detergent. Cleans well and heavy duty.
This is a great high quality strainer and the fact that it is reenforced with another layer or larger mesh really stiffens it up. I am very pleased with it.
A great strainer that is perfect for sifting together dry ingredients when baking. Also great for dusting cakes and desserts with powdered sugar for an elegant look.
I'm back for another of these strainers, it really resists rust and its extra heavy duty- you can bang this thing around- have had no problems with rust at all. Requires a bit of elbow grease to clean out of the nooks and crannies but its nothing a good soak won't take care of.
Tablecraft 82 6 1/4" Fine Double Mesh Strainer is a high quality strainer that with is double mesh makes it a good substitute for many task that may require cheese cloth. Not all thing that need cheese cloth can use this instead but most can so this item becomes a 2 in 1 item a strainer and a cheese cloth substitute.
This strainer works great for sauces and stocks. It gets very small pieces of food out of the product. There are two layers of mesh to achieve this and the strainer remains easy to clean.
Excellent quality especially for the price. I can't buy anything of this quality in my local stores for near the price. Great buy and shipping rates are minimal.
This has turned out to be the best strainer we have. Very sturdy, no rust and we love the wood handle. Additionally, unlike cheap strainers this one is much less likely to get bent due to the reinforcing wires woven into the basket.
These aren't quite as good as a cheese cloth, but they're the next best thing. All of the double mesh strainers allow for great, fine straining, but because of the second set of mesh, they're also much more sturdy, too.
This is a great strainer. I needed something to ladle stocks through and this is perfect. It is sturdy as well. I'm still in shock at how cheap it was compared to the quality.
The double mesh is great as it prevents the inevitable warping of strainers that live in cupboards. Have not done any forced straining yet, but it feels as though it would definitely etake some pressure.
This strainer works well for making stock from scratch!! Easy to rest directly over another pot to strain right into!! Good for small batches of pasta too!!!
This strainer is one among many of different sizes available here on Webstaurant Store. You will find that this is a great size to strain sauces.
Tablecraft strainers are definetly the best. They are durable and the double mesh can even clean out dirty oil. It can take a beating or a fall and the wire mesh keeps its shape.
