I was in the market for a silicone pastry brush to butter and put egg wash on breads and this is large enough that it covers the items evenly.

This is a decent brush, but the structure of the strands is a bit funky. I found it grabbed thicker sauces or sauces with particulates decently, but thinner sauces it may struggle with. For what you are paying though this is a strong contender.

We use this everyday, very useful for butter.

I wish these came in other colors, however the hook on this brush is awesome, keeps things nice & tidy!

I use this high heat brush for my clarified butter I keep it by the grill at all times, I keep mine on a hook next to the grill when I'm not using it. It also gives you the option to hook it on an edge also designed to keep it a distance off of your work area with the nubs it has on the back. It has become my go to and favorite basting brush.

We bought these as an experiment. We were trying to find brushes to use for butter basting. To our surprise they work extremely well. They hold the butter for basting and most importantly they clean up easily. Cleaning kitchen utensils is always a challenge and the silicone makes that easy.

These work great for brushing oil. The thick silicone strands on the brush dont fall out. When we used a traditional basting brush we were constantly have issues of the bristles getting into peoples food.

I love this basting brush it is very wide so it covers a lot of surface. It is very sanitary because when you said it down it doesn’t touch the counter it’s also rubber so super easy to wash. Love it.

This basting brush can handle all different types of things. We use it for our barbecue sauce and it can really baste different types of meats. It has a hook that can be used to hook the brush in a bowl so it doesn’t slide in the sauce and it is super easy to clean. I would buy more of them once I have the need to.

Neat little brush. Does not hold the way bristle would, but it certainly is super easy to clean and I never have to worry about heat and dishwasher ruining my bristles.

These are perfect for our smaller size pizzas. unlike the brushes with bristles these do not fall out and get in to your food or product

Good sized brush and a good price. The wide head makes it ideal for buttering or egg washing large breads and the bristles seem durable.

I've had it for a couple of years now and it has held in pretty good shape, I don't use it frequently but the quality is there.

These silicone pastry brushes are amazing! They hold up well to heat and evenly distribute whatever your're using it with! Bonus, the bristles don't fall out like traditional brushes and it's plastic handle is so much easier to clean that a wood-handled brush!

These brushes work great. I use mine for spreading butter oil. They hold spread out the oil very well. The only down side is some of the bristles can break from washing after a long time of being used.

Good baster. Ridges on brush help capture whatever you are applying. Seem to work well. I will recommend this to anyone who needs a basting brush.

This is a very well designed brush. The brush is wide enough and the silicone bristles are just the right amount of density and flexibility.

The silicon bristles on this brush are extremely durable and can handle lots of abuse. The handle is also quite strong and will last us for a while. An excellent purchase as it is great quality, but cheaper than the competition.

This Carlisle 3" pastry brush is just right for chicken breast of fish fillets. It's about the same width as a piece of chicken breast so brushing oil on the chicken is simple. I just pour a little oil on the meat and brush away.

This pastry brush is easy to use, easy to clean and is of good quality. I would recommend and I would buy it again if I needed another one.

This product lasts! We've used these silicone pastry brushes in our restaurant for almost 2 years and they work great for spreading olive oil on pizzas, pretzels, etc. I would recommend purchasing.

This is a nice silicone brush. Instead of being smooth strands, the bristles are a series of little dots that hold oil or butter so much better than other silicone brushes.

I really like this silicone brush. I use it to apply marinades to meat. It holds the marinade and applies it very well. This is super easy to clean, which is my favorite part about it. I detest using real brushes for applying marinades because it's impossible to get them 100% clean. I also really like the hook on it, so you can hang it from your bowl. Would purchase this again in a second!

Great pastry brush. Silicone makes it easier to clean. I've used it with egg washes and glazes with no issues whatsoever so far. It is an essential baking item.

Durable little pastry brush. Washes easily, and is a lot more hygienic than a imitation bristle brush. Easy to clean up and dries quickly for storage.

Use this brush for buttering my garlic bread sticks. The hanging hole at the top of the handle, as well as the little hook on the side near the bottom are great features. Super durable, been using the same two brushes for a couple years. Can definitely give this product the highest recommendation.

This pastry brush holds onto things you want to brush very well, and it cleans easily. I like the way it coats things - it's nice and wide and can coal pasties and breads in a small amount of time with minimal effort.

Dishwasher safe!!! I love that feature because most of the time you are using fat along with a pastry brush. The heat of a dishwasher makes these so much easier to clean. The brush coats well, too.

I was looking for a unit that could go in the dishwasher and opted for this. Used a couple of times for basting and it more glops liquid that painting it on like a real brush.

I like it that this pastry brush has a hook in the back. The hook hold the brush from slipping, and it locks and stays in place on side of bowl where you rest it.

We have hot honey we deal with. This brush really holds up! The holder on the side so it sits on the lip of the pan nicely. Very durable. So happy I bought this product!

I bought the Carlisle Silicone Pastry Brush to replace my old silicone brushes. I really like that this brush is one single piece. (My old silicone brush heads were removable and constantly coming apart every time I used them.) This is a solid brush and perfect for applying melted butter. I also like the fact it is dishwasher-friendly, which makes clean up a breeze!

Brush works good for putting butter on already cooked items, but not good for putting egg wash on unbaked goods. The quality is good on these would recommend.

I like the shape of this pastry brush, the handle is much more comfortable than most pastry brushes. But i don't know if i like the bristles, I haven't had a problem with them yet but on soft things like pie dough im always afraid im going to break the dough. The bristles re really easy to clean too which is a plus, there's no egg chunks getting stuck in the hairs.,

I use these every day for brushing hand pies! They work great and I much prefer these to traditional brushes. They don't come apart and they are very easy to clean.

I like this brush so far. It holds thin basting liquids very well. I've put it in the home dishwasher a few times and it has gotten clean even though it was covered in greasy, grill bits.
