The wide mouth ensures that odd shaped items, like beans or nuts, can pour easily without constantly bridging, and the size is almost perfect where it will fit exactly into the wide mouth gallon container and self stand without you having to hold it. I sell coffee online, and being able to fill bags quickly is a life saver and this funnel makes it so easy. I have also used this for putting candies into jars and such as well.
