I bought a 65qt wheeled Catergator cooler because I was looking to upgrade to a rotomolded cooler. We do a lot of camping and trips often go 2-3 nights being remote away from sources of ice. The Catergator looked like a good quality cooler for the price when compared to the other big name coolers that cost 2x as much. I currently have a different brand 5 Day cooler that we've used for years and generally lasts 2-3 days of real use. I ran 3 tests of the other brand vs. Catergator saw mixed results against the other brand that cost 1/3 as much. Because the wheels are too small, it is virtually impossible to pull this cooler when it is full. Unless you hold the handle up way too high (which is extremely difficult because the cooler itself is VERY heavy). This completely defeats the whole purpose of it's use. We have gone to putting it on a rolly rack so that we can get some use out of it, but this is an embarrassing design flaw and should never be purchased.

We got this cooler for our Havasu trips and the top bows up considerably. We received another one and the new one does the same thing. Even when in low 90° weather the top will bow when in sunlight, so when on hot trips its even worse. Then if you try to seal.it down, the suction is so bad you have to pry it open with a screw driver. We were told this is normal.....bummer as I've never had any other cooler bow up like this in the heat and it allows hot air into the cooler and becomes useless. Bought this for hunting to cool meat down and keep it cool without refrigeration. I placed a couple of gallon jugs of water fully frozen and a couple of gallon ice cream pails full of water mostly frozen into the cooler to cool it down at the start of my trip and was curious how long it would last. After 2 days in my car with temps in the 90's during the day and 70 degrees overnight there was still some ice in the jugs. I was quite surprised since these coolers work best when packed with cold/frozen items and what I placed inside was nowhere near capacity. Made a great gift. Better than my yeti cooler. I like the wheels and handles. On the heavy side but thats the quality behind it!

I bought this cooler for 5 day camping trip where the weather averaged in the high-eighty’s. The cooler worked great and kept all the food cold and retained the majority of the initial ice we added at the beginning of the trip. The key was to pre-chill the cooler that morning before our trip and make sure all items that are added to the cooler were also cold. On the fourth night, I convinced myself that this cooler was bear resistant and left it out of the bear box and that night the bear put my cooler to the test. Unfortunately, the cooler got destroyed however the bear was not able to penetrate though the interior plastic and we were able to pull all the remaining food out unscathed. I would say this is a well built cooler that has excellent ice retention and would consider this *bear resistant*. I hope to buy a replacement since I believe this cooler is very well built and I liked it a lot.

I found this cooler being the bargain hunter that i am, i was skeptical about buying a non "name brand" cooler and this one is like 1/2 the price of name brand units im so glad i found this cooler. I left it with ice i put in as soon as it arrived in my car while at work and im TX! still had plenty of ice ,best cooler ive ever bought and ill buy another as back up very soon!

I spent months researching coolers and checking them out at every place I could think of for comparisons. I decided to take chance on this because I could only get online and the other brand was well outside the budget. I honestly was blown away once received. Built like a tank, high quality gasket, even wheels are very heavy duty and sturdy rivits hold in the rope handles. I dare anyone to find any better quality cooler like this for less.

Our Cater Gator just arrive after ordering it only 3 days ago! It is very impressive looking and feels super sturdy! Love all the features: wheels, stainless hardware, color (grey is much nicer looking in person) and so much more! Definitely got our monies worth! The 45 qt cooler came without the cutting board divider and the dry rack they show in the photos, thought it came with it. They were NOT offered as a optional add on at check out : ( Not cool. They want $ shipping cost to get it to me. RIP City. Customer sevice was not helpful and condescending. Want to return ANYTHING ? Be prepared to pay outrageous Rip-Off shipping rates and restocking fee. This cooler is available elsewhere(same cooler diff name) with the cutting board and rack.

As a new business owner, finding that fine line between price and quality is of utmost importance to me. When shopping around, the price seemed very reasonable, almost cheap compared to the other big named cooler companies. And I was a little hesitant because I still wanted the quality. After 2 years of using this cooler on a fishing charter boat, ladies and gentlemen, the quality is definitely there! So far, 2 years of this cooler being used as a seat, a step to get up to another level, used as a casting platform where it's being stood on all day, (with people weighing over 300 lb) it has fallen out of the back of my truck twice, and it gets beat and banged around transferring it from land to my boat daily. We bought 2 for our company events. It keeps the items very cold for days, which is great. However, there is a design flaw. When it is full it is exceedingly heavy and very hard to transport. If the handle was closer to the bottom, so you could lift and then carry it without hitting the back of your legs it would be more useful. But as is, you can only lift it a few inches off the ground and you can't even begin to take normal steps. We had very strong men moving them, and they were dying. We had 2 men carrying each cooler and they found it very difficult. I have to now buy rolling carts so we are able to use them since our events are offsite.

just got back from a 5 days fishing trip... ice last all 5 days!!!... pre cool your cooler and you will have no problem... also open drain slighty to drip water out... best of the best... thank you!!!

We have purchased the large one with wheels and this smaller one in same camo pattern. We use them for events mostly for drinks. We have noticed over time the plug will start to leak if not tightened super tight. Which is a negative because once you tighten it, its hard to un screw it later when cleaning and to air it out for storage. is the only thing we have noticed thats an issue, not a super big deal but it's happened to both coolers. Our large one we purchased it over 4 years ago and it still looks good and functions good for the price. It's not as good as the yeti ice melts faster (we have a yeti too) but for traveling and banging it around as much as we do it's well worth the price and we will probably purchase more in the future. I think the yeti and others are overpriced for what you get. This cooler will get the job done.

Sturdy construction. It is a price-friendly alternative to Yeti or Rtic coolers. I love the drain plug. It will make it easy to top off the ice on long trips without making a mess. Love the color!

This cooler is impressive. It didn't keep the ice as long as I would have liked(hence the 4 stars), but in its defense it was 100° in South Texas and right on the beach. It was filled with water on one side, sodas and other beverages on the other and it kept EVERYTHING ice cold for 2 weeks, outside in the heat..like I said..100° temps and some days even 102 or 103 and as long as I put 40 pounds of ice in the cooler every 3+ days or so it kept doing its job. It actually still has ice in it from 2 days ago and a 10 hour ride up from South Padre Island on the southern tip of the Texas coast.

It holds ice for a few days even in the extreme heat of Alabama. It also has held up to rough terrain being strapped into a work truck.

We ordered this for our foodtruck. The ice retention is compairable to the pricey brands. i like the wheels because this thing can get very heavy.

This is the best bang for your buck, period. I use this for keeping my food cold for 10 day hunting trips. It holds ice equal time to my coolers from other brands. The latches are much better and solid feeling then the RTIC and Yeti. The feet don't come off when sliding the cooler like other coolers do. And the plug chain is a nice feature so you don't lose the thing. The corner metal bottle openers are great to hook locks through when your in need to chain or secure the cooler. I own 3 of these Cator Gator Coolers and will keep buying more. This 65 is the perfect size for my food with a few ice blocks. For a family food storage need, the 110 with ice blocks is better suited. But for a couple guys this 65 is where it's at.

I am disappointed in this cooler. I took everything out of the fridge and freezer and put it in the cooler that had been sitting in my kitchen, my house stays at an average of 74 all day every day, then iced it down loaded it on the boat, by midday ice was almost gone and the frozen water bottles had started to melt. I thought I was getting a great cooler that I would use all the time. But now I'm on the search for another one.

Bought this for ice retention on my fishing boat and I couldn’t be happier. Save some $ and buy this cooler. I’ve used the other well known brands that cost hundreds more and this CaterGator is as good or better than the others.I’m in the tropical sun all day and i have ice for days. Happy Captain.

I searched high and low online for an AFFORDABLE rotomolded cooler and landed on this beauty. The color options and price are what initially drew me to this brand, but I was impressed with the extra features this offers and the 65 qt capacity. We just used it for the first time and were impressed with how long it held ice. Also, it has two bottle openers that can also serve as locks for the cooler. It's not too heavy at 35 pounds and has a nice texture for wear and tear on the top. The cooler has hinges that keep the top open once opened, which is nice, as nothing is more frustrating then it closrs on you while you are reaching for a drink. We will be recommending this to our family and friends, thanks webstaurant store for the sweet deal/find!

I would like to say the CatorGator 65 Quart cooler performed performed as I expected it to perform. I loaded it with $333.00 of frozen meat on the 24th of April and opened the chest on the 30th of April. Only the top 3rd was dethawed but still very cold. Loaded it in the freezer and my wife and I are happy as clams with the purchase of our CatorGator 65 Qt cooler. Thank you webstaurant for this great cooler.

7 hour trip with frozen goods and ice. When I arrived at my destination the ice was melting and frozen stuff was thawed. Not really what I was looking for.

I purchased the 45qt cooler. I’ve now used this cooler 4-5 times for multiple days. There is absolutely no way this cooler is holding ice for 10 days. The max is 5 days. I. Hot conditions count on 24 hours. I used this at flaming gorge camping for drinks and it held ice for 5 days. The last time I used it in Escalante in the summer. It was closed all day since I was out Canyoneering and it held ice for 24 hours. A bit disappointing.

Great cooler for the price. Wheels included is a bonus . You will save money just buying it for the wheel. Lifting a cooler is back breaking and just dangerous...

I purchased this cooler a few weeks ago, I live in the Florida Keys where its HOT!. I filled the cooler with 32lbs of ice and drinks. I used it (meaning opening and closing it) it stayed in the sun and shade outside only. After 5 days the ice had melted and I was left with ice cold water. I'm not sure how the claim of 10days of ice would be appropriate, maybe if it was inside and not exposed to the elements? But, overall I'm very satisfied with this product, I would purchase an other one when needed.

Very disappointed with this product. The rope handle to pull this cooler is extremely inadequate. Far too short to be used as a pull handle. Once loaded with ice and beverages, it almost becomes a two person job to move it. Used it once and will not use it again. Unfortunately I was advised by customer service to try and sell it on my own since there is no return option due to putting ice in it..

My favorite cooler disappeared at a tailgate. I searched for a while for a replacement and found this seemingly rock-solid, wheeled 65 at an amazing price. Five days of free-shipping from AZ to FL later, i just received it via FedEx. It IS a rock-solid, perfect-mid-sized, 10-day cooler, with heavy wheels and 100% usable interior space (no wheel cavities that make your beers fall over!). This cooler works great for keeping ice for many hours. We use crushed nugget ice at our restaurant, so it has a tendency to melt quicker if you aren't careful. This cooler does a good job keeping the ice for caterings.

This cooler arrived much sooner than expected. Quality exceeds expectations. Used for fishing and great to have one large coolernvs multiple smaller coolers all over the place creating hazards. Did a test and it kept ice for 8days on boat, in FL sun.

These coolers are on another level. Bought 2 sizes. Both are phenominal. If you are contemplating buying one, just do it. 100% worth the money.

These cooler are a great value for the dollar spent. They hold temp extremely well whether you use as a hot holding for doing BBQ or keeping things cold. They are extremely durable and actually very scratch resistant. I use them on my food truck to hold ice for drinks and to serve water out of. So the lid is open a couple hundred times in a day!. Plus the plastic cleans up well on the inside. And the outside cleans up well and holds up to repeated. Pressure washing. Aka literally every weekend after an event I pressure wash them. Yes the seal is very tight and can pull a vacuum. But just crack the plug open a touch.

Love the cooler but , that rope handle is useless. Pullout retractable handle would be better.
