If you have dull, no edge knives and are looking for a stone sharpener, this is the one to purchase! I had knives thats been dull for years but after a few strokes they are sharp just like the day I purchased them! I highly recommend!

For those that want to sharpen their knives with a fine touch. The electric ones work ok for a cheap knife but they aren't very gently. This is the way to go for your finer cutlery.

I don't own one but the culinary school that I attend uses them. They are very easy to use and heavy duty so it's not easy to move it accidently, nice and stable. The units at my school are at least a couple of years and see heavy use but they are still in great shape. Saving up to buy my own unit now.

If you like to have a insanely sharp edge to your knives this is the only way to do it. Eclectic knife sharpeners are great but want get them as sharp as this stone.

I like the system it takes a bit of practice. the oil bottle is a bit odd as to using to pour onto the stones. it a bit large so sharpening requires adequate space considerations. the guide is very small and does little on large knives. they did not build the guide storage in so you need a place to store and locate. The oil bottle is best stored in a plastic bag after use.

In my opinion, you have to sharpen your own knives. Period. So you have whetstone and oil stone. THIS is the oil stone standard. Butcher shop or serious kitchen essential.

We just recently purchased this knife sharpener and wish we would have sooner! Makes food prep so much easier and although it is not cheap, it is definitely worth the investment!!

This is rather on the pricey side but well worth it! I've had mine for close to a year and it still works like it's brand new. It sharpens quickly.

This is a great sharpener. Have been wanting to get one for a long time. It is pricey but so worth it, with practice it will keep knives very sharp over time.

Should have gotten this a long time ago. We were using a knife service. It is so nice to be able to sharpen our own knives in house.
