Pretty much the same material for shelf liner you can get at cheap retailers. My "board buddy" came crumpled up sloppily wrapped around piece of cardboard with packing tape encasing. Just getting the tape off removed fibers from the mat and the edges in general looked like it was cut by a 2-year old, jagged and uneven edges. webstraurantstore was great at initiating return.

We ordered Board Buddy 12" x 18" Black Non-Slip Cutting Board Mat to use at our breakfast/lunch café. These cutting board mats are super helpful to use under all of our cutting boards. They hold them in place, making for a safer work space.

Great for the price.

These mats work great in keeping the cutting boards stable on the prep table. The drainage holes in the material also allow them to be used as a drainage mat for glassware being washed by hand.

We purchased these to help keep our cutting boards from sliding around. they do what we need them to do. I would recommend them to someone looking for that.

These board buddy non-slip mats were okay when brand new, but over time they lose their non-slip-ness and you either have to double up or just go back to the wet towel method.

These are nice to have. More sanitary and more effective than the wet towel method. I highly recommend these for their ease of use and for keeping the work environment a safe place to work.

This board buddy is the greatest thing that I have seen or used in all my 20 plus years in the food service industry. It defeats the use of a wet cloth or rag and holds the cutting board on any surface with out slipping. I would recommend this to every chef or food worker in the industry,

Quality cutting boards for a reasonable price. Gouge resistant and durable. Easy to maintain and clean. One of the best products we have use in a while.

Does a great job of keeping a poly cutting board in place under intense use. It also works well with a 1-1/2" thick maple board. Highly recommended. Strangely enough, this is one of those tools that really contributes to safety in the kitchen. A cutting board that slides around is an invitation to injury.

These board buddies do keep the cutting boards from slipping around on our stainless steel prep stations. They are definitely more inexpensive than buying a board that has the non-slip added.

These are not very good, I would much rather use the cutting board mats made by san jamar. They are alot more expensive, but definitely last much longer

The board buddy was good at providing grip for the cutting board when I first bought it. It lasted a couple of weeks but considering it I washed it about twice a day it started to tear. I would imagine if he needed replacement after one month of use. Now I just use a wet towel.

This is the perfect match for any cutting board, perfect thickness and great grip. Very small size wish was a double of the size for large boards.

This mat does what is reports. It is 8x12 inches, and when it is inserted between a table and a cutting board, it grants resistance to keep the board from sliding.

I was impressed by how well this mat works. It's like night and day when I place it under my cutting board. This drastically reduces the odds of cutting yourself in the kitchen.

doesn't have much depth to mat. hard to get cutting board to stay. if the board has even a SLIGHT gap. won't work for nonslip

talk about non slip. the mat is great. i purchased this about a month after the cutting board i got from WebS and its works wodnerfully easy to clean and provide a great non slip surface for the 12*18 board.

Upon first glance I thought this thin, cheap looking thing would never work and is a waste of money. I'm wrong. It works very well. I'm pleased with the purchase.

These are perfect for holding a cutting board in place and much better than using a sanitizer rag for the same purpose. Plus, you can throw them in the dishwasher for cleaning each day.

We use these in our coffee shop. We serve pour overs and needed a way to stabilize the carafe on the service platter. We cut them to fit and they work great.

I was a little nervous when the Board Buddy Jr eight inch by 12 inch black non-slip cutting board mat was delivered, mainly because this was the first time using this kind of non-slip tool. I will admit I was wrong and won’t ever go back to the competition. This mat is beyond durable. I appreciate the non-slip feature and it has not shown any sign of wear after heavy of use. I highly, highly recommend this mat for any kitchen.

The Board Buddy Jr. 8" x 12" Black Non-Slip Cutting Board Mat works great. I tried to slide my board to see if it would slip and it did not. This is definitely a great item to have in your kitchen.

does what it should and what it says it does. this keeps my board from moving around thereby making prepping and butchering a much safer endeavor. handy little product.

This mat is perfect for small cutting boards! I've used some in the past that claimed to be non-slip but were worthless. This one actually keeps your board in place.

Excellent product! It does what it is suppose to do and it is easy to sanitize in a sink. That helps it to retain its shape and usability. I suggest to future buyers when you clean it, do not put this product in a dishwasher no matter what.

It does help with my cutting board from slipping but is far from perfect. My board stays in place a bit better but is not impervious to moving around. Overall for the price it's okay.
