Worked for about 3 weeks then stopped producing ice. This is the second and last machine we will buy from webstraunt nobody will come out and fix it. They dont stand by there warranty or return it. I implore you not to buy from them.

Decent unit...easy to install. Ice is perfect and quick.

We bought this machine 2 years ago and it has stopped working; Error 03. After harvest, it drops the ice from the evaporator and stays on harvest mode. In order to get some ice from it, we have to turn it off after every harvest and back on again until we can figure our what to do with this machine. Poor workmanship.

This ice maker is producing half the amount advertised. WTH is going on? Also,the storage bin handles less than 300 lbs and not the advertised 526 lbs. This is outrageous and outright false advertising. Can someone get back to me?

Avantco makes great refrigeration equipment. I switched from rental to owning my very own ice machine at a reasonable price. They work great and i have yet to experience any problems with it. I own several of these machines and they are just great.

Worked only for few months. Raised tickets with webstaurantstore few times with customer care team without any help back. They always say you have an open ticket and someone will get back to you either via email or phone. Not recommended this.

Have had several major problems with this unit. No longer under warranty and I can not get anyone to work on this unit. Constantly freezing up, stops producing and then shuts down. DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT.

So, I have now owned this machine for about three years and have never had a problem. It is a bit more of an effort to clean it than my old undercounter unit was, but given that more of the parts are easy to get to, I think I give it a better cleaning than I could my old one. The one issue is that I wanted to get it professionally cleaned and was quoted a price approaching $500 because the person had never worked on one of these machines before. I found another tech who handled it for a reasonable price. As for longevity, my undercounter scotsman failed after five years and a scotsman version of this one would have cost more than twice the price.
