I purchased a commercial reach-in refrigerator from WebstaurantStore 6 months ago, and it has been a nightmare from day one. The unit has never been able to hold a safe temperature, constantly staying above 40°F, which has caused me to lose hundreds of dollars in spoiled dairy products. It even completely shut down on me once.
When I initially contacted WebstaurantStore, I was assured the equipment came with a 1year warranty and was told to file a claim. However, the warranty department is now denying coverage, claiming that because the refrigerator was installed in a food trailer, the warranty drops to only 30 days even though the trailer is stationary and has never been moved.
If commercial equipment cannot handle a stationary food trailer environment without failing immediately due to poor factory quality, it shouldn't be sold as "commercial grade." Extremely disappointed with the lack of support for small business owners. I expected much better customer service and accountability from WebstaurantStore.
