Purchased two of these soup kettle warmers a few months ago, and neither of them are working any longer. There seems to be issues with the thermostats because they always kept the temps too high. Even on the lowest setting my soups would start to burn. Needless to say I would recommend looking at higher end models.

Thought I would give this brand another try since there isn't a whole lot of choices for soup warmers. Like most Avantco products I have purchased in the past, they either break apart after the warranty or start to rust away just like this one. Just only after one use, the "stainless steel" inset started to rust. This is my FINAL purchase with this brand. -"You get what you pay for"-

I LOVE THE FACT I'M ABLE TO CONTROL THE HEAT SETTINGS WITH THE TURN DIAL KNOB, WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT BECAUSE DIFFERENT LEVELS OF LIQUID REQUIRES SPECIFIC RATES OF HEAT. PLUS I LOVE HOW STYLISH THEY LOOK. ALWAYS REMEMBER PUT THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF WATER IN THE BASE BEFORE USE AND DISCARD AFTER EVERY USE AS WELL.

We purchased this soup warmer about 2 months ago, and it has since stopped working correctly. No matter the setting it is on the warmer contonues to get hotter and hotter and ruining the product in the warmer. We keep water in it as we're supposed to and have it on the lowest setting and the warmer continues to heat and keeps the product at around 200 degrees.

We purchased 2 of these warmers in April of 2021. It's December, and both of the thermostats have stopped working. No matter how we adjust the temperature, the warmers adjust to full heat. Everything in them gets burned. I need to replace them, and would love to repurchase the same ones so we can reuse the inserts, but I don't have the budget to replace these every 6-8 months. We use them daily, but isn't that what "commercial" should mean? Really disappointed.

Cute, but didn't survive a year. The thermostat has a mind of its own and eventually started burning our soups. On Level 2 (of 12), soup is literally boiling.

We really loved this warmer at first - we bought and regularly used two of them - but not long after the hinges for the lids either broke or became detached, and then one of them just stopped working. Now the second one we have heats to whatever temperature it wants to whenever it feels like it. They've been in active use for less than two years and I'm already shopping for replacements. I would say these are great if they don't get a ton of use, but if you need to use warmers regularly these might not be the best choice. Cute though!

I bought 3 of these a year ago, replaced one after 9 months, now replacing a second. Both started superheating to the point of being dangerous.

First time using I added a little water to the bottom as it calls for and somehow it started leaking through the bottom, I never figured out where the leak came from but luckily my money was credited back onto my account. But this isn’t the first time a product of theirs hasn’t worked for me. They’re cheap and poor quality. Do yourself a favor & purchase something better from somewhere else.

The only reason I gave three stars is because I've bought 7 of these the past two years and only 2 are currently working. When they are working, they're great. However, they do not last very long... 3-6 months. I'm about to order a few more because the 14qt works well for me... I'm searching the web for an alternative however.

This souped warmer worked good on 6 months and it stopped working after that. It has a life 9f only 6 months that's why they have only 6 month warranty on it.

This kettle is amazing! I've used it to keep melted chocolate and caramel warm for dipping desserts! Everyone always gets a kick out of it!

Product worked like it should. Easy to clean and maintain. Only issue is that we bought this brand new and have only been using it for 6 months now... already stopped working. It no longer heats up! Already had to purchase a new one. Pretty dissapointed

The warmers works fine but the lid snapped off within 3 days of usage. We love the color and it keeps the soups at the correct temp

This soup warmer is BIG. It displays beautifully and we have had no problems with any technical aspect. All parts of the insert and lid can be removed and taken apart for easy cleaning.

This soup kettle holds the perfect amount of soup for our busy cafe. It keeps the soup warm all day and we love that the lid has the gap for a soup spoon!

Our sales for soup increased with the setup of these. They are great and add to the appeal of our location we might purchase a few more so that we can carry a few other soups hot for the day.

Time saver if your restaurant is really busy. Keeps soups warm really well. Decent product for money spent. Easy to clean. Definitely worth buying these warmers.

This soup warmer is an enormous disappointment and, frankly, a safety hazard. It’s made so cheaply that the entire exterior becomes dangerously hot—there’s no double wall, so anyone who touches the body from the base to the top risks an immediate burn, which multiple employees have already experienced. The insert is poorly designed as well, with grooves that trap soup and make serving and cleaning unnecessarily difficult. After the very first use, following the instructions and adding the required 24 ounces of water, the interior stainless steel drum was already showing burn marks, which only underscores the poor construction and hazardous design. The temperature control is equally flawed, swinging from scalding hot to far too low with no usable middle ground. If you’re considering this model, I strongly recommend opting for the Winco 10-quart instead; we were initially enticed by the Avantco’s 14-quart capacity, but that design choice ultimately ruined the product.

Good. Last more than a year.

While these are decently priced. the quality are just not there anymore. the first 4 s600 last us 4yrs. We can to replace couple unit and both last less than 6 months. hopefully the replace will last Longer. also you can not buy the replace heating elements for s600. they do not sell them.

DO NOT buy this unit. I bought one. Less than a year, it stopped warming. A replacement unit was provided. And same thing happened. Less than a year, it stopped warming too.

Vastly better than the ones we purchased off of other sites- highly recommend.

Stop working after 2 months. Overheat and stripped the outlet constantly.

I brought these kettle warmers to keep some cheese dip hot. They lasted about 9 months and then they broke. did not purchase again.

We are constantly using this item during the winter months to keep soups hot for our patrons during those cold winter days.

It is a good quality and does what it says it will do, so I am giving it a good review. However, unless you sell large quantities daily, not really a good purchase for daily use.

I bought three, and the temperature of two of them couldn't be controlled after one year of use, and the thermostat was broken.

Nice, polished, light, consistent and great for any occasion.

Works well. I do wish there was a smaller version available but keeps soups warm. I don't like the design of the lid but it works as it should just a bit annoying to put on at first. Overall would purchase again.

We do NOT recommend buying this product. Since we started using it, we've found that even on the lowest setting, it runs way too hot and burns our soup. We've used many different models of soup warmers over the years, and this one did not work properly from the beginning. Very poorly made product. We will be throwing this out.

This item definitely have thermostat issue after couple months of using temps is always too high. Even on the lowest setting. I threw away many batches of soup until we figured out what was going on. I would recommend buying a better warmer to save money on a long run!!! Hope review helps other buyers

We've been had same issue that thermostat is no longer working after 3days later. It was boiling so we have to turn off and turn on manually. Super hot. It is so annoying.

My wife likes it for when family are up. They can just get what they want from the kettle rather than having a pot on the stove.

Not working. Set at highest temperature all day and the soup is still warm. Will not recommend this product.
