The last case of dish fuel that I got was extremely hard to open. I had to actually bust out a tool chest, and I'm a strong guy! Impossible to open on the fly at a catering event, for instance. The product works great tho, once you open it.

These chafing dish fuels are great for long events. They last the full 6 hours keeping the food hot. I would highly recommend this product.

You get what you pay for. I’ve used other brands of 6 hour fuel before, and they take longer than the 2 hour style to heat up a chafer. But they were less likely to blow out. But these never heated up my chafing pans, even after 2 hours there was no steam in my pans. Yes, they were on. Even the bottom of the chafer was cool to the touch. Back to my regular brand.

This chafing fuel is inexpensive and lasts for 6 hours. However like some had mentioned in the comments, the caps are screwed on VERY tight. Loosen them before hand with a wrench or you will be struggling to untwist them at your event.

Although it comes with a safety twist cap, I still found it to be the most difficult to open. It actually requires you to use pliers. I don't see me purchasing these items again for that fact alone. However I am giving it three stars solely on that Once you get it open they burn very evenly.

I bought a couple of cases of this stuff. I've found that the 6 hour cans last closer to 4.5 hours at most. I've had a few events now, where we needed 10 hour operation of our chafing dishes as it was an all day event, and 9 hours into the event, we had already gone through 2 sets of cans and had to start a third set. Luckily I had brought more than enough. That said, these really should be classified as 4 hour chafing dish fuel. I'll still use them. I just know what to expect no w.

Im not too pleased with product, it doesn't seem like i have been getting the full 6 hours of burn time on any of them.

This is the best deal around on 6 hour chaffing fuel. Works great for caterings and not much more than the 2 hour cans. There is nothing more embarrassing than finding out your chaffing fuel is empty and you have been serving cold food.

Unfortunately, these fuel cans barely last 4 hours. Purchased them for a Farmers Market event. I set up and lit the cans at 3:30pm (Market started at 400pm). They started smoking (indicating they were out) by 645pm. They were all completely out by 715pm. Next time, I will try another brand or fuel type.

Great choice on the 6-hour chafel fuel....I did not need to use another fuel because the 6 hours held up to its promise...I was very pleased!!

The Choice Wick Chafing Dish Fuel provides a strong, consistent burn and is very easy to light. Even in semi-windy outdoor conditions the wick stays burning strong. The fuel does, however, run out prior to the 6 hour mark, so estimate closer to 5 hours. of true burn time

I purchased the 6 hour chafing fuel because they lasts longer and would not have to be changed out during my event. They burned the entire time (4-6 hours). Kept all my dishes steamy hot!

This product does what it is intended to do but on average we only get 5 hours burn time. Burns cleaner than other fuels and leaves very little residues.

I was hesitant to buy these at first because I had never used a wick chafer fuel before, I had always used gel fuel with no wick. I was pleasantly surprised at how long these stayed burning. It stopped burning about 5 hours after it was lit. These will help reduce waste and cost in your establishment.
