This is an economical chafing fuel, works as well as the name brand. burns clean and keeps the food warm for the full time span. the only negative is that the paper label will burn, and give off the strong smell. this is solved by removing the label prior to lighting.

I've tried all sorts of chaffer fuel and I'm pretty sure this is my favorite! The lids are easy to get off, they are easy to light, and the time length is perfect for an event! Very economical also. The 72 count ensures it'll be awhile till I need to reorder!

They're fine IF you can get them open. They are sealed so tight that it makes them next to impossible to pop open.

Box quality is not good. Both boxes arrived torn at the edges and making it difficult to transport.

I am so angry right now. I ordered 72 of these so I can use for our caters and they came in a large box all dented and some are busted open. The smell is horrible. Very disappointed. These are expensive. What a joke.

We use these fuel cans for every catering event. They light quickly, burn consistently, and don't leave soot on the underside of the water pan.

These are great for catering. The price is the best I've found. We sell a lot of them to churches, caterers, family reunions, and more. They are always in perfect condition when they arrive.

We use this gel chaffing dish fuel regularly for weddings and banquets. Quality and performance are exactly as expected. The fuel is easy to use, long lasting and odorless.

Works fine, but I definitely prefer the ethanol option. These smell, and are not great for indoor use. I'd much rather pay the higher price and get the better product in the future.

bought it for an event at our new banquet facility and it worked perfect. We did not have the food out for too long so the burning time was perfect for all the dishes we served. will be buying again from them

i love the gel chafing fuel. they light fast and burn just as good a wick fuel. they fit just right under my chafing pans

love the gel sternos instead of the wick. Just seems to burn longer but should have ordered the 6 hour. my bad

The price point on these are great. Unfortunately they smell almost like an electrical fire when they extinguish by themselves. I will stick with the dish fuel from Webstaurant- which is a great value and no smell!

We use these for our catering and banquet events. They actually last longer than which is great obviously. Really good bang for your buck.

Really good item to use super easy also good for in an outdoor catering’s keeping food warm at all times. Also this item will last for a couple of months

The methanol chafing gel is adequate but we much prefer the wick when setting up for buffets. It does a much better job of bringing the heat to our dishes.

Easy to use no bad smells from the fuel and when you are done just put the caps back on to discard. No mess and you don't have to change out during the saving of a meal.

These work great and are more reasonable than where I was previously ordering from! Plus they don't leak like the other kind I was getting before!

Great for catering jobs that need only short time of heat. Keeps the food warm for longer in the chafer, easy to pop off top and easy to light.

While they are sort of inexpensive this time that will pay the price. They don't always light up which is an inconvenience since you end up wasting product and money.

Very good, I received it at the estimated time, I still do not try them, but they look very good, I hope they work for my buffet!

As usual, Choice products are built to last and save you money, these fuel cells are no different, we not only use for catering but use in house on busy nights to help keep product warm in odd areas.

They arrived very quickly and were just as expected. We used them for smores with the grandkids -- in the house. No soot, smoke or odor at all. Very pleased with them.

I have just become partial to the Gel. The tops are easy to open, has a pretty accurate burn time, minimum if not at all leakage. I have ordered this product a number of times.

Was attracted to this product because of the price. However, the Gel only lasted for an hour or less. time rating is misleading. Please have this product tested before advertising.

the choice methanol gel chafing fuel is a great bargain and works great. it does better in wind than chafer fuels that have exposed wicks

I purchased these because we have to keep alot of food hot in the park. I was really unhappy with these because they would not stay lit and when you did light them you couldn't tell it was lit so I kept burning my hands. When lighting one it exploded and burned my hand. I will let be purchasing this item again. That is really bad because I have a whole case that has to just sit around and not be used.

Gel Chafing Dish Fuel is a good choice if looking for a short event time- quality and less expensive than the sterno options. Comes packed well in case and easy to use. Beware that outside of container will get very hot so do not try to touch without gloves if lite.

These chafing dish fuel will work great for our caterings. Buying in bulk and from Webstaurant is so much more inexpensive than anywhere else I can get them.

BEST DEAL AROUND FOR THIS PRODUCT. We used to pay over triple for the same product elsewhere until we discovered them on Webstaurant. They are still great quality and last like they should.

These chafing dishes are awesome to keep on hand for large or small catering events.
