This towel is 16x30, 100% cotton, but is slightly less thick than the 4.5lb version, hardly noticeable actually. The fabric is ring-spun cotton but is slightly less 'refined' looking than the combed versions also produced by Lavex, but would you notice if you didn't have both in-hand? Probably not. The color is slightly warm white, and the decorative stitching at the bottom rather looks like chevrons, which is nice. This isn't as thick as a plush bath towel, but chances are you don't want a hand-towel to be so bulky either if you intend to hang it up.
