They're not quite as hefty and thick as a super plush bath towel, but that's better for a hand-towel anyway; you don't want them so thick that they don't dry. As with anything white, you don't want to use chlorine bleach on these lest you may discolor them. These are a very bright white as far as color goes, are 100% cotton, and the decorative stitching is well-done.
