I purchased two sets of these chairs in last couple months and have been bragging to my staff how great these are and that we are buying "restaurant" quality to last a long time. The upper backs of the chairs are literally falling off. They are not glued and the screws from the backside are not long enough to penetrate even the thin plywood they supposed to grab from the front. The plywood is not reenforced and any screw tip that we add that is long enough will scratch everyones bare backs. I am super disappointed and am reaching out to company to replace these or make this right, hoping for a good solution.

I only purchased 2 of these in case I didn't like them. Spoiler alert: I will be ordering 2 more. I have a retro-inspired kitchen and purchased chairs from the "A" place, only to find that over a short amount of time the legs started to bow, the result of, what I perceive, a design flaw. A google search for red retro kitchen chairs brought me basically 2 different results, being the "A" chair at a dozen sites, and this one. I gambled. I won. The chairs are almost alarmingly lightweight. The design of the legs being straight as opposed to bowed was definitely what I needed. The padding is ample and firm and everyone who sits in them remarks about the back support.
