I'm not an expert on honey and not a big user of honey, but decided to try this buckwheat honey because it promised more flavor and came at a great price. This honey definitely has a better flavor than the generic yellow stuff in the little plastic bear. While I can't actually pick up any specific differences in taste, to us, it just is more flavorful. We use it in tea, on breakfast cereal and as a remedy for the occasional sore throat.

The Dutch Gold Buckwheat honey has many uses and is tastier and thicker than other brands. I use it mostly for tea but is great for baking. I would recommend this.

We absolutely love this buckwhear honey. We use it as syrup on pancakes and waffles and added into oatmeal as a sweetener. It has health benefits. We bought this in a five gallon bucket last time we stocked up on honey and lost half because it sugared very hard in the bottom half of the bucket before we rejarred it. Better to buy smaller containers so this isn't an issue. After using buckwheat honey, no honey will ever compare to it.

This is definitely a stronger and more flavorful honey. If you want to add some color to whatever your making this dark honey is it.

The Dutch Gold buckwheat honey is super dark and has a bold taste. A great honey for making honey spreads and honey butter for rolls.

Good quality honey. If you couldn't tell from the color, Buckwheat honey has a stronger flavor than other, lighter colored honeys. Use it for when you really want that flavor to shine through. I used it in honey bread, for example. It's a pretty small amount for what you pay though. A good value by grocery store standards, but not by Webstaurant store standards. I guess I'm spoiled by this website offering insanely good deals, and so when something is a more "typical" price it seems expensive to me. 1/3 cup for my bread was about a quarter of the whole bottle. Not worth it to me.
