The packaging of the 1 gal. of molasses sucks! The gal. was just dropped into a box with nothing to keep it from rolling a round. I consider myself very lucky it arrived undamaged. Not sure if I will reorder because of packaging with the shipping cost of $. By the way the molasses is a 5 star rating

While blackstrap molasses is not for everyday baking, it does provide so much flavor an nutrients, more so than other molasses types, and this is no exception! Gallon size at super price, easy for storage, moving and pouring (who likes jars for molasses anyways?).

The best value and price when for our baking needs. The flavor can't be beat and I like that I don't have to buy a large case, I can buy it by the gallon.

I use this product to make brown sugar. Good flavor at a great price. Will definitely buy again. You should know that because of the viscosity of the product, and the narrow neck bottle, you will lose about 10% of the molasses, just because it won't come out. If you are using it as a wet ingredient, you may be able to add hot water or steam, but I don't want to add more moisture or heat to the sugar.

We bought the blackstrap molasses first, and found the taste to be very bold. We bought the baking molasses to see if it would make a difference. In the end we found that each molasses has its useful recipe, you just need to experiment. We think the quality is great on both of them and would highly recommend.

I could not believe the price of this. I had been buying the small bottles at the store and paying almost the same price. I love being able to get such a large quantity at a great price and the horses love it in their treats!

I also purchased golden barrel supreme baking molasses but found the black strap was thicker and not stripped of all the minerals and vitamins like other molasses.
