This is a must have for any baker that uses bun trays. Very strong and well made. Just hang on a screw or hook as close to the oven as possible.

All of my employees love the strong grip these provide. We can easily transport our 18" pans from oven to table without fear of the gripper giving out and dropping the pizza. Unfortunately, I don't like how poorly made this gripper is. It only lasts about a month, and while the price is good, I just can't continue to use a product that is so disposable.

lightweight and durable
We initially bought this to use with a couple weird shaped pizza pans we bought, but immediately found additional uses for it. It works great for grabbing half sheet pans out of the oven, and we use it to pick up and toss a Chinese style round strainer/colander that we use to cook pasta in the wok station, like a bonus handle.
we use the for grabbing hot pans out of the oven. The only complaint is the springs then to break with frequent use.

I have been looking for a way to remove bread loaf pans from the oven i have been using 2 oven mitts however sometimes these are more trouble than they are worth I spent some time researching what i could use to remove the pans and at the same time not mar or destroy the pans finish i decided on this pan gripper and from what i have tried so far it will wok very well
with this cast iron aluminum pizza pan gripper you can not only grip pizza pans but just any pan. it is made of cast iron which will not rust.
I'm giving these 5 stars because of the price compared to quality. We LOVE these! I started buying these at the last concept I worked at and have continued to buy them for myu restaurant now. These work GREAT for small sheet pans. Very secure. The will bend DEEP DISH PIZZA pans up pretty bad... we use these for deep dish pans while sliding a 10" wooded peel underneath for stability. They hang very easily on our line for quick accessibility. Cons...only 1...the rivet holding this together stretches after time with daily use making the product unstable and loose...BUT, for the price, buy more! A must have in a kitchen with sheet & pizza pans.

Terrific product. Easy to clean easy to use study enough to support a lot of weight. We used to just use towels or oven mits but these are a huge step up.
One month in with this guy and it's my preferred pan gripper for now. Hook on the back to pull the pan closer to the oven's edge as necessary, nice grip... no breakdown issues yet, but we'll see how it holds up. Ordering three more for my crew to use for now.

This thing is built to last. It's made of cast aluminum, so it's lightweight. However, it is built very well and can grab a hot pizza pan with a loaded-down pie, with no fear of dropping it on the floor. This is simply the best pizza pan gripper out there, bar none. Don't buy any of those stainless steel versions you see out there, they will not hold up to constant use at all.
A great addition to any shop working with multiple oven items. Easily grabs 1/4 size sheet pans out of the oven as well as sizzlers and thinner pans. Much easier than looking for a towel Or hot gloves

Though we have two different metal gripper tools for hot pans coming out of the pizza oven, this one is generally the favorite. Employees use this over the other one, as it is more secure. Good grip and nice handle.

What a useful tool. As others mentioned, the spring function tends to loosen eventually. Still, the price is right and the tool is priceless. Wish they had a ring/latch to be able to store them in a closed position.
