We have been using this excellent coffee in our espresso coffee drinks for several months - and with wonderful results!! Our customers comment frequently that we have "MUCH better coffee than those chain shops" and are now big fans and repeat buyers. It has a smooth, non "over roasted" taste and no negatives. I am going to keep ordering this coffee - for the quality and the price, can't be beat.

I received my order 2 days ago. I was anxious to give it a try. I found the bag was extremely difficult to open, but I understand it's to preserve product integrity. When I finally did get the bag open & was able to smell the aroma of the coffee beans, I wasn't sure what to make of it, the aroma wasn't like other coffees I gave purchased. I ground up some beans and brewed them up. Upon my first sip, I must confess I was not impressed, I thought, just another "average" coffee. But this is nit the case! There is nothing special about this coffee, it truly is middle-of-the-road in the roast and taste. It is not horrible like gas station coffee, but not as good as 8`o` clock coffee bought at any grocer. This grade of coffee is average priced also. You are not getting a deal with this coffee, you are getting what you paid for. 2.5 stars

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered this two pound bag of Crown Beverages Emperer’s Finest Whole Bean Coffee but I was very impressed with the freshness of the beans and the sweet taste of the coffee. I do hope to see additional coffee and espresso flavors available in the future and will order again for sure.

This coffee is decent, about what I expected for the price. It doesn't taste amazing, but it's not too acidic either, so it's a nice choice if you're looking for a good value.

This is a medium roast coffee bean and is great! Good flavored coffee and cost was great. Not only do we make money but we are able to give our customers good prices!

I was using the ellis whole beans from here for awhile, I tried a case of this, none of my customers noticed. So now I'm saving lot's of money stocking this coffee!

This coffee is a great value. It is not bitter when finely ground, and it tastes fresh. Keep beans fresh in tightly sealed storage containers.

This box of coffee is such a great deal! For the price, the blend is great too. We use this in our commercial coffee machine at our church, and our congregation really does seem to enjoy this blend. It is our most popular on Sunday mornings. The value of this deal is hard to beat. I give it two thumbs up!

Solid, affordable coffee. Came well packaged and, at least for the bag we've used already, the coffee was oily and seemed pretty fresh. Folks have really liked the brew so far, and since it's so inexpensive brewing strong has been a no brainer.

this is workingman's morning coffee...stout blunt and a bit rough.....there is no subtlety or finesse to this coffee but its got what is usually identified as 'body' in mass quantity coffees.....its the kind of coffee i drink every day and have for years but its not the kind of coffee i prefer.....i prefer a really good complex subtle coffee and i know it when i taste it, but i don't come across it very often

I’ve been purchasing my coffee from restaurant depot for years, but I wanted to try a more bodied coffee for my customers so I chose this blend. Very standard coffee bean that appeals to both weak and strong drinkers, the beans are not oily at all.

It is what I needed and it works fine. The price is very affordable and the quality is good. The package is clean and organized. customer service is good.

This coffee is very good and consistent; my wife loves drinking it, and it's not expensive. It's been a while since I've had to buy coffee because of this.

We weren't very impressed with these beans. They did the job, but we ended up blending them out with a new roasters blend just to use them up!

I cannot recommend this coffee to anyone. The beans appear dry and old, and the flavor is very sour. The package does not list the country of origin, type of beans, or roast date.

I was really hesitant to buy this beans I mean the price till I tried it was great when u get daily consumption of certain products like coffee ull need to look for the right price without jeopardizing the flavor specifically coffee u don’t have to worry about this one buy it with ur eyes closed.

This is nice for the price, I always use a bit more of this then I do my old brand but I think it has a bolder flavor once I get the ratio right, its good but I may keep looking for what is just right for me

It's coffee had a fair price on it. So I decided to try it My customers and I both agreed that it was not the best coffee. I will not be ordering any more of the empire coffee.

Crown has always been a good too for a basic drink coffee for us. Never any complains, decent freshness for a huge bulk company. Fairly pleasant aroma and smooth finish. Lets be honest you're average coffee drinker wouldnt be able to tell the difference between this and craft coffee and sometimes honestly would prefer this, which is half the price per lb than gourmet coffees.

This coffee holds it own. The Emperors Finest Whole Bean Coffee tastes as good as the more expensive ones. Will for sure rebuy once this runs out.

While I wouldn't put this quite on par with the flavor of other higher-end brands, it makes a smooth cup of coffee (I use a French press) and is far cheaper and certainly a good value compared with the other brands.

I mostly use this to make the coffee cubes that go into homemade frozen coffee drinks. Once you add the milk and syrup, most of the nuance of the bean is obscured. So there’s no reason to use the expensive coffee shop beans.

We really enjoyed this coffee! It has a great flavor for the price! The versatility of the whole bean makes is usable with any type of coffee maker, provided you have a grinder! Freshly ground coffee is the way to go!

We are a little picky when it comes to coffee because there are some awful name brands out there,so I decided to try crown beverage emperor's finest whole bean to try and save money. I never expected it to be so good tasting not bitter sometimes that nasty burnt taste. it was so good I will be getting a case of it to keep me stocked up !!

For the price surprisingly good coffee beans. I wish this store carried a wider variety of coffee, but as far as options go this should work reasonably well. I used these rather slowly and they lasted with decent flavor for a very long time kept in an airtight container.

I hate to leave a negative review of anykind, but when this coffee was NOT well received by our customers as our drip coffee offering. HOWEVER! We then tried it to make cold brew and it worked pretty well

Pretty good coffee for the price. We buy the beans whole and grind them for use in a French Presses and we've never had a complaint.
