my issue is not with the product. my issue is the cost of delivery. once i put my order together, i check to see what the shipping cost will be, but when i actually put the order through, the shipping costs change, always increasing.

This is a great product that served me two purposes. It served firstly as a taste enhancer and secondly as a thickner. I have bought it twice and will be going for it for a third time. Highly recommended.

I saw the reviews for this gravy and had to try it myself. This gravy mix is better than any can I have ever tried and actually tastes homemade! Add some drippings for even more flavor, but it really isn't needed and I guarantee you your guests will believe this is homemade. You can't beat the price!

Much more economical to buy this beef gravy in a big bag than it is to get the little pouches at the grocery store. Good taste and quality - good with onions and on steak and potato dinners. I recommend pouring it into a resealable spice container if you don't intend to use all of it in one batch as the bag cannot be resealed.

Used this for a Roast beef with gravy, personally found it to be a bit salty but overall great rich flavor and good quality product.

The uses for Chef's Companion Beef Gravy Mix are virtually endless. It is a great stand-alone gravy, but with the addition of mushrooms (canned mushrooms from Web Restaurant Store for example) and sauteed onions, it becomes a wonderful dress-up for salisbury steak or sirloin tips. Add sour cream, egg noodles and meatballs, and it becomes another dish. Add to cooked beef and vegetables to create a rich, hearty beef stew. It mixes with cold or hot liquids, and is dependably mixed at the ratio of 1 cup of mix to 1 quart of liquid. No one will ever know that you didn't create your gravy-based dish from scratch. You can mix it in small batches as needed, or mix the entire gallon, and it will store in the refrigerator for up to three days, without loss of quality. It does not stick to the bottom of your pans, even if you neglect to stir it frequently, like other gravy mixes tend to do. This is a serious favorite.

Great stuff here! We used it on chuck steaks, cube steaks and a good old bowl that was used for regular mashed potatoes. Has a nice slow cooked taste to it even though you can make up some in a snap.

We can all agree that this isnt the name brand product that everyone would prefer to get, BUT this is just as great AND taste great, which means that you save more money and the taste isnt affected
