The Shanks imitation coconut extract is fantastic! The entire Shank's line of extracts are super concentrated and have great flavors and aromas. Perfect for creating flavored simple syrups or for use in baking. It flavors things perfectly and is absolutely lovely. The coconut is not too strong and is well balanced. Adds a nice tropical coconut flavor to whatever food or beverage project you're working on. Definitely recommend.

ill be honest, its not my favorite coconut BUT you cannot beat the price. if your mixing it with other flavors i think its wonderful, just didn't care for it alone.

Even though this is imitation it is like the real deal it is really tasty it leaves a wonderful taste to my baked goods and desserts.

This is by far the best clear Coconut that I have used. It makes my Pina colada cupcake icing delicious and doesn't leave an aftertaste. And it comes in a large bottle so that you don't have to order every time you turn around. you won't be sorry if you purchase this item

Very happy with the taste of this coconut flavoring. I use it in my coconut cream pie and it came out fantastic. Much better price than the grocery stores for the quantity.

The Shanks Imitation Coconut has a nice flavor flavor for baked goods. The clear color is perfect so that it doesn't affect the color of your product.

If you are looking for a very subtle coconut extract, then this one is great. I find if you want to have a stong coconut flavor, you need to add fresh coconut, coconut milk or coconut creme.

I use this imitation coconut in my home kitchen. It is just as good and much less expensive than the coconut that I was purchasing in my local grocery store. I like to add it to coconut cream pie filling.

This clear imitation coconut is very light in flavor, i havent use it for baking but with meringues the flavor is very subtle! I need to use at least 2-3 tsp of it for 400 g of meringue, wich is a lot and can destabilize the recipe! Maybe should be use for creams or custards!

This product is great for baking cookies,cupcakes, brownies etc. You can also use this is frosting to add a coconut flavor. The bottle is pretty big and I think or the quality and quantity the price is really great!

I like this imitation coconut for the value but it definitely isn't the strongest coconut flavor. I find I have to use almost double the amount I would normally use when using a more expensive/ more potent imitation coconut. I don't mind because it's such a great value!

We were looking for new flavors so we decided to give this a try. Its flavor blended well with our baked goods and weve been getting good feedback. One thing though, the flavor is on the weaker side so we have to use more but it works out especially in recipes that call for some liquid.

I tried this coconut extract for the first time. Which is a t th icky flavor. Not the best but it's much better than others I tried

I like the flavor of this extract. It has a really good coconut flavor. What I don't like is that it is an extremely weak flavoring causing me to use a lot of it just to get any coconut flavor whatsoever. For the money, it should be a lot better.

This is an excellent coconut flavoring. Coconut is my favorite extract and I use it in lots of different baking things as well as my chai tea. I'm glad that I can get it in a larger container than the tiny 2 oz ones generally available in the store.

This is my own personal opinion. For this imitation coconut the quality is good; however, I did not use it at my bakery. I usually use the emulsions and was looking to save a few pennies by trying this, but after experimenting in my first recipe, I went right back to the emulsions.

Excellent extract. I use it in a holiday coconut bread recipe that is prohibitively expensive anywhere else. This imitation coconut does not have off putting chemical flavoring.
