I've been using this white (clear) imitation vanilla in my royal icing and it gives it such a nice vanilla flavor. Because it's clear, it doesn't effect the coloring of the icing. Great value!

I need to use a double amount to make my goods have a nice vanilla flavor. The flavor isn't super strong; however, it doesn't taste super artificial, which is why I buy this product.

I used this for cookies. Notice the addition of sugar in the ingredients, usually not found in vanilla. See McCormick Culinary Clear Imitation Vanilla Extract that does not have added sugar (found online). The sugar impacts your formula balance. Probably makes it cheaper to produce. You only get what you pay for.

I love this clear vanilla. It has a great vanilla taste and adds so much flavor to my buttercream and royal icing. Definitely buy a couple of bottles, because you will go through it!

I really love this vanilla for my white and vanilla cupcakes. It is clear so your cupcakes can remain white and light in color and it has a full body flavor to it that adds a nice touch to our cupcakes!

With the skyrocketing costs of pure vanilla these days, this is a great alternative to use in baked products. The vanilla flavor is strong and blends well with all types of cake batter and cookie dough. I have used both in my recipes, but there is no discernible difference in taste - it is a fantastic product!

Our regular white vanilla brand has changed and we were looking for another vanilla that would be the same, Shanks is it! Great flavor and aroma. We would highly recommend this brand over many of the others we have tried.

OOps, I reviewed the smaller bottle. It was not enough and saw that you carry a bigger bottle and so ordered that. I hope it lasts longer as I can go through it quickly when baking and need a clear vanilla for white cakes/cupcakes. It tastes great and no one knows that it is imitation.

We were trying to source a cheaper vanilla flavor for our small coffee shop. This was cheaper than the Watkins clear vanilla flavor we were getting, but not quite as good of flavor. Definitely better than the REALLY cheap ones we've tried from Webstaurant.

This vanilla flavor is so good! I used it to make my vanilla frosting for my butter pecan rum pound cake! It was delicious! It gives a little something more than my traditional vanilla and does not tint my frosting so it’s stays white. Love it!

This is a good quality vanilla extract with strong flavoring. I like that it is clear, instead of the usual brown. I use it it all baked goods and icings and fillings. Recommended!

Love this imitation vanilla. Due to vanilla costs, we had to find a good imitation replacement. I purchased about 8 different brands, dark and clear. This was the winner. Some imitation vanillas have a strange aftertaste to them. We have found that this ones works best with no aftertaste that we could notice. I do have to double the amount to get a strong flavor, but that's ok due to the low cost of it anyway. Will continue to order and would definitely recommend this product!

We use this vanilla for our frostings in our cake shop. It has a nice vanilla taste and does not have that awful cinnamon taste so many imitation vanilla flavorings have. It is a great price with a nice flavor that keeps my buttercream white.

Great clear vanilla, has a more natural vanilla taste then Mccormick. Helps keep my buttercream white, add a little heavy cream at the end and its much like vanilla ice cream.

This is the real deal. The fake real deal! I bought this to make the Milk Bar Bday cake which uses a bunch of baking chemicals and asks for imitation vanilla specifically to make the cake taste like a box mix. It has a great smell and definitely has that nostalgic smell. I used a little for the special cake and now use it when our home-brewed vanilla runs out.
