PolyJohn Trailer

PolyJohn Trailer

Hi, I'm Jamie. I'm here to tell you about one of the products that we offer. This is our single trailer used to tow around a single unit. This is also available in a double unit trailer. As you can see, it has the dock that is able to carry around most portable restrooms. The tongue is removable by pulling out this pin. Also, the unit is easily held down by these clips in the front. You would simply place your unit on there and secure it with your clips. The unit is able to be lowered down through these wheels. And these wheel assemblies are able to be removed, as well. The rating on this trailer is 900 lb.; most vehicle weight. It is the standard unit, the PJ unit; it's capable of handling a unit that's 44" wide by 47" long. The fleet unit -- that is the one that we have here -- that is capable of handling a unit that's 47" wide by 48" long. Now, if you'd like any more information about this product or any other products that we manufacture, if you'd please visit our website. Thanks for your time.

PolyJohn Trailer Operation

PolyJohn Trailer Operation

Hi I'm Jamie I'm going to show you how to put a PJ unit on our single trailer. We're going to start by removing these clips in the front here. They are held in place by these D clips, simply pull the spring off the back side of the clip and then pull the pin out of the hole. Remove that clip and we'll do the same thing for the other side. And we will slide the unit up onto the trailer we're gonna have the door facing forward which is the recommended placement of the unit on the trailer. You can place the unit with the door facing the rear however caution must be taken to lock that door anytime the unit is transported otherwise the door can be flinging open. You can lift it up onto the trailer here, and then we will push it all the way forward until it is held in place by the C clips on the back. You'll see the unit is secured underneath this C clip, the C channel here that's welded onto the trailer that holds it in place in the back and then we are going to now install these on the front. We're going to reinstall these simply the same way we uninstalled them except opposite. Simply place that into the hole, line up your pin, through the clip, and then fasten it in place with the clip there. We'll do the same thing with the other side. Now you'll see that there is a little bit of play when you put the unit onto the trailer, that is only to allow for other manufacturer trailers or units to be put on the trailer. These clips are held in place by welded in pins here and they are going through the assembly of the trailer so it makes it very secure and it is held onto the base of the unit which is the strongest part of the unit. We are going to start by putting our tongue into the trailer here. There is a receiver located in the center front of the trailer to do this we'll pull the pin out of the this keeper pin here and pull all the wiring out and then we will slide our tongue into position and you can put this pin partially in the hole, push this through until it goes through, and then secure in place with your cotter pin. Now we are going to start with the left wheel assembly here. We are going to pull the pin out of the axle, and pull this D clip out of the front receiver clip here. Taking our wheel assembly, place that onto the axle, slide it into position, put your clip back in. Now we are gonna do the same thing with the right assembly, removing the clip, see the D clip there, place our wheel assembly back on. Replace our pin in the back and we will now lower the unit down; to do this it can be a little tricky we'll have to pull this wheel assembly out to clear the clip and then up into the clip. We'll do the same thing for the other side. And we are ready to hook it up to our trailer. Now when you get to your job site and have released your trailer from your truck, lower it to the ground and we will begin by lowering the wheel assemblies down to lower the whole unit. It is done by pulling these clips out like this, pushing this down, and out. And lowering this unit to the ground. And then we will do the same thing for the other side. Now at this point you can leave the wheel assemblies attached. Now if your unit is facing the front like this one is you will need to remove the tongue. To do that we're going to pull this pin out here, your clevis pin. Put that to the side. Remove your tongue. Pull this out, push our wires underneath the unit and I would recommend that you would place this in the back of your truck or wherever for safe keeping that will keep your unit secure while on the job site and keep anyone from taking your unit. Thank you for watching this safety instructional video on how to use the PJM3 on this trailer. These trailers are available for all units that we carry, the Fleet or PJM3 units. The PJ part number is a TUO11000 and the Fleet is a tTUO11001. This is also available as a double trailer where you can put 2 units on a trailer that would be a TUO2100 for a PJ model and a TUO1001 for a Fleet. Now if you'd like any more information on this unit please visit out website and I thank you for watching.

PolyJohn TU011001 Details

This PolyJohn TU011001 Fleet single unit portable restroom trailer is the perfect way to transport any PolyJohn Fleet portable restroom from location to location. Each trailer is made from galvanized, zinc plated steel to prevent rust and corrosion. The large tires and high ground clearance allow this trailer to handle off road and paved surfaces with ease. Best of all, this trailer can easily be lowered to ground level to load, unload, or use the unit. Simply unhook the clips holding the wheel arms, lower your PolyJohn unit to the ground one wheel at a time, and then remove the trailer tongue and wheels.

On the front of this trailer are skid brackets which securely hold the unit in place during transport. These brackets are easy to remove to slide the unit onto this trailer and then lock the base of the unit in place to keep it attached to the trailer. It is recommended to always tow the portable restroom with the door facing forward to keep it from blowing open. This trailer also has no-rust fenders and includes tail lights and wiring assembly to connect the lights to the tow vehicle. The trailer tongue hooks up to the tow vehicle with a 2" ball hitch and includes safety chains for safe hauling.

PolyJohn sets the standard for the sanitation industry and is the leading manufacturer of portable restrooms. Their products are made for high traffic areas such as commercial worksites, festivals, and fairs. Most importantly, each PolyJohn is designed to be easy to clean and maintain.
