PolyJohn Bravo Portable Sink Drain Plugs

PolyJohn Bravo Portable Sink Drain Plugs

Hi I'm Jamie from PolyJohn and I'm here to show you how to put a new drain plug in your Bravo sink. The new drain plug is retro-fittable for the older spinwells that can get damaged over time or whatever, so these are a direct replacement for that and I can show you how to get that done. The tools you're going to need would be a drill with a 1 3/4" hole saw, a utility knife, or if you're so lucky like me to have a de-burring tool. We'll show you the utility knife and how to work that. And then you'll need two of these drain plug kits. The part number for these is APC100421. These kits will come with the drain pug, the unit seal that you need, the body that goes in there, and also the o-ring that you'll need for sealing that up. We start this by removing our drain plugs from our sink. The one from the fresh water and the one from the gray water. Using our drill with our 1 3/4" hole saw, the hole saw will fit right over the body of the drain plug. When you are drilling this out, we have to be very careful not to go too far past. You can see that it fits right over the top and just make sure you don't go too far. Now you see there are a lot of burs on here - we will have to clear those up with our utility knife. Now we will do our second hole. This is for the gray water right here. Once we got that one out, we'll go ahead and start cleaning our debris up - our edges. Just again, a normal precaution, on this side here, i'm not sure if you can see that, there is an insert here you have to be very careful not to hit when you're drilling that out. Now we'll take our utility knife and we'll come down here and we'll just clean off the edges here. When you're done drilling these holes out you want to be sure you get all the debris out of the tanks but primarily the fresh water tank here, otherwise that debris can get sucked up into your foot pumps and cause them to have problems as well. So once we get all our edges cleaned up and all the debris out of there, we take our uni-seal from our kit and you install that right in the hole like so. We'll get our second one and put that in there as well. And once we get them in place, take the body of your drain plug and you insert that into here. Sometimes it's a little easier if you have a little lubrication for these, so you can take a little bit of liquid hand soap and smear that around the inside edges of the uni-seals and then insert the body of your drain plug into the hole. Get it lined up just as so and pop it into place. If you're a little guy like me, sometimes you need a little leverage. So i'll just set the sink on its side like this and then use my weight to push this in. Just like that. Now that we've got that done, we'll take our drain plugs and we've got out o-rings. Fit the o-ring over the edge of the drain plug- it sits into the collar like that. Do the same thing with this one - like so. If it stays in there- there it goes.Simply insert and turn and we are done. Now these drain plugs are very simple to use. It is simple a 1/4 turn. There are no threads to mess up or anything like that. They seal up in any kind of holding thank - the uni-seal itself is water-tight so it wont leak. And these drain plugs can be installed in any holding tank you want, even something like this 250 gallon holding tank we've got here. Simply drill a hole in that and pop the unit like we did before, place your plug in there, and you're good to go.

PolyJohn BRA2-2000 Details

Featuring a sleek and innovative design, this PolyJohn BRA2-2000 Bravo dual hand washing station featuring two heated sinks is perfect for a wide variety of outdoor events. This sink has a water heating feature to provide your guests with warm water to wash their hands. It has a streamlined style that offers two separate sinks to minimize lines and promote sanitation after guests use the restroom. Best of all, it is portable and has built-in handles so it can be easily moved from location to location. Thanks its compact size, it will easily fit inside most portable restrooms or can be placed near a line of portable restrooms to serve as a sink for multiple units. Despite its compact size, this unit has a 22 gallon fresh water supply which can serve nearly 300 hand washes without needing to be refilled. To handle the waste water, each sink has a 24 gallon gray water tank as well. This sink even has two soap dispensers and 4 slots for dispensing paper towels, so you can offer the optimal wash station for your guests. The dispenser keeps the paper dry when the sink is used outdoors and there is no key needed to open it to load with paper. By lifting the cover up and pulling the sides out the unit opens up thus there is no problem with lost keys. This unit also includes a drain for both fresh water and waste water. It is recommended that this be emptied over a floor drain or sewer.

This unit's heating element is submerged in the fresh water basin. It's preset at the factory to raise the temperature to 100 degrees Fahrenheit for a better user-experience. The unit self-regulates, turning on as the water needs to be heated back up. The system even has a low water shut off component that cuts heater power if the water falls below the heating element in the fresh water tank. This unit comes with a GFCI protected plug that can be plugged into a GFCI-protected outlet. You can plug the unit in with or without the heater, and there is a clip that holds the cord off the ground when not in use.

This sink even has a hygienic hands-free foot operated pump. Using a foot operated pump increases sanitation and is easy to use. Simply depress the pedal to dispense water out of the faucet and into the sink. This operation also helps keep guests from using too much water and needlessly depleting the tank. There are clean out valves located at the bottom of the unit for easy clean out, too. This unit also features reinforced rod hinges and a rotomolded sink base for increased durability and long-lasting use in your commercial environment.

PolyJohn sets the standard for the sanitation industry and is the leading manufacturer of portable restrooms. Their products are made for high traffic areas such as commercial worksites, festivals, and fairs. Most importantly, each PolyJohn is designed to be easy to clean and maintain. Regardless of where you need them, PolyJohn's products are built to withstand years of use.
