This Philips M5072A infant / child electrode pad cartridge is a perfect companion for HeartStart OnSite AEDs. The child electrode pads are used to deliver a potentially life-saving shock to a patient, so it is important that you always keep them stored properly, and that you keep a spare set onhand in case you need to use your AED and replace with a new set of pads. These electrodes come with clear diagrams that show you where to place each pad, and they come in an easy to replace cartridge format with a clear plastic cover and a built-in "pull" handle to retrieve them from the AED. The pads should be replaced every 2 years, or after each AED use. They are intended for use on patients under 8 years old, or 55 lbs.
