This Philips M5071A smart adult electrode cartridge is a perfect companion for HeartStart OnSite and HeartStart home AEDs. The adult electrode pads are used to deliver a potentially life-saving shock to a patient, so it is important that you always keep them stored properly, and that you keep a spare set onhand in case you need to use your AED and replace with a new set of pads. These electrodes come with clear diagrams that show you where to place each pad, and they come in an easy to replace cartridge format with a clear plastic cover and a built-in "pull" handle to retrieve them from the AED. The pads should be replaced every 2 years, or after each AED use. They are intended for use on adult patients only.
