I like being able to write with a "permanent marker" on chalkboard labels, black paper and kraft paper, but of course, this is not so much a marker as a paint tube with a marker attachment and functions very much like the popular chalk markers. It's a little fussy as far as needing to pump it and it can drip a little, but if you need white writing, it's worth it.
