The bottle filling station features a touchless sensor activation for sanitary re-filling of bottles, and the plastic components are covered in silver-ion antimicrobial protection. A green display indicates the number of 20 oz. plastic water bottles a user is saving from waste, encouraging them to limit their use of plastic bottles. The steady water flow minimizes splashing while the real drain system eliminates standing water puddles and debris. There is also a 20-second shut-off timer to further conserve water.
For users who prefer not to use the bottle feature, the fountain is operated with electronic pushbars on the front and both sides to activate water flow.
