It features an oil-filled design for optimal heat dissipation so the pump won't overheat or break down due to extreme heat generation during extended use. This automatic unit has a powder-coated epoxy finish and an integral float-operated mechanical switch for dependable operation. Its solid polypropylene float can't become waterlogged, ensuring that it remains buoyant and functional at all times.
This grinder pump uses Tri-Slice cutter technology to use three independent cutting channels, providing over 250,000 cuts per minute. With a 1/2 hp powered motor that operates at a rate of 3,450 RPM, durable cast-iron motor housing, 2" NPT discharge, and oil cooling, this submersible grinder pump offers reliability and cost efficiency. It has stainless steel hardware that enables the pump to cut through challenging material to provide corrosion protection, along with a stainless steel float guard to prevent debris buildup. The Shark series features patented technology not found in competing products, delivering a one-of-a-kind performance. It requires a 115V electrical connection for operation and includes a 9' LED power cord to allow you to verify power status at a glance.
