This Follett Symphony Plus 12 series air cooled ice maker and water dispenser is the perfect addition to your employee break room or cafeteria! It dispenses both ice and water and produces up to 425 lb. of Chewblet ice per day. Chewblet compressed nugget ice is slow-melting and easy to chew, making it ideal for hospitals and retirement communities. Additionally, this type of ice is often preferred over cubes for its ability to conform when used in ice packs!
This ice maker and dispenser is designed for optimum sanitation. Its cleaning and sanitizing cycle takes only 1 hour, and it automatically self-flushes to remove impurities, ensuring clean, refreshing ice dispensing every time. With SensorSAFE infrared technology, this unit offers touchless dispensing right into the cup, helping to lower the risk of cross-contamination. Its key components feature an Agion silver-based antimicrobial treatment for further protection against contamination.
This Follett ice machine and dispenser uses environmentally friendly R-290 refrigerant, and its continuous ice-making process uses less electricity and water than traditional cube ice machines. Plus, this unit features Quiet Night sleep mode to automatically turn off the machine when idle. This unit uses 12 gallons of potable water per 100 lb. of ice and has a storage capacity of 12 lb.
For ease of servicing, an LED control board provides instant access to the machine status and settings. The panels are removable for easy maintenance, and the poly drain pan, grille, and dispenser lid are corrosion-resistant. The unit boasts a stainless steel cabinet, evaporator, and auger for long-lasting use. It also features a compact design that takes up minimal space on counters. It requires a 115V connection to operate and comes equipped with an 8 1/2' cord.
