Whether drizzled with olive oil and garlic or smothered in a light marinara sauce with basil, Napoli 1 lb. capellini pasta, or angel hair, pairs perfectly with subtle, refined flavors. Its smooth, delicate texture contrasts with succulent shrimp, crisp heirloom tomatoes, and other savory additions; mixed with a light dairy sauce, it becomes irresistibly soft and decadent. It's perfect for showcasing your signature consomme, or for recreating the tried-and-true shrimp scampi with angel hair. However it's prepared, this pasta brings a touch of warmth to the table, tantalizing the senses with the comforting aromas and tastes of authentic Italian cooking.

Characteristically long and slender, this capellini is made of 100% pure durum semolina. Soft and fine, durum semolina is ideal for pasta, easily forming long strands with its supple, moldable dough. This pasta ships dry and is simple to prepare, requiring approximately 3 minutes in boiling water. For every pound of pasta, use 4 quarts of water. A teaspoon of salt can be added to taste too, or left out if desired. With occasional stirring, the capellini will quickly become tender and ready for service. Just add the preferred ingredients, plate, and serve!

Italian immigrants, Mark Cipriano and Angelo Farisello, have always appreciated the importance that food plays in bringing families together. With a dream of continuing family traditions, they founded Napoli Foods in the late 1970s and began selling wholesale products to fine restaurants and pizzerias. Today, the company offers a large selection of nationally known labels, regional favorites, and a complete line of Napoli Brand food products.
