This Makita MAX XGT floor machine kit is designed for floor polishing, cleaning, and wax removal applications. The included floor machine is equipped with an efficient brushless motor with 3 selectable speeds of 150, 350, and 650 RPM. It delivers constant speed control with up to 60% faster brush speeds than comparable models. Its flexible, adjustable head can be fixed in the ideal position or used in free-moving mode. When moving freely, it provides superior anti-wobble control to reduce user fatigue. This model has a telescoping, easy-grip handle that adjusts from 42 1/2" to 56 1/2" high to ensure a comfortable position.

This unit operates using an efficient 40V max XGT lithium-ion 4.0 Ah battery. When fully charged, this battery provides a runtime of up to 3 1/2 hours on the low setting and 48 minutes on the high setting. The XGT battery delivers more constant power for high-current demands and features rigid rails with an impact-resistant construction. The XGT charger cools the battery for faster charging and features a digital display with battery charge level. A battery cover protects the battery from cleaning agents and water. This floor machine is only for use with Makita batteries and chargers.

This durable floor machine weighs only 10.3 lb. with the battery to reduce operator fatigue. It has XPT extreme protection technology for improved dust and water resistance in harsh conditions. It includes 2 head-mounted LED lights to provide front-facing illumination when cleaning. Its splash guard keeps water and cleaning agents from splashing during use. This floor machine features anti-restart protection to prevent the motor from starting when the battery is inserted with the switch locked on. It includes a variety of color-coded attachments for cleaning and polishing tile, decks, concrete, and other surfaces. Attachments can be easily switched out without tools.
