This exit sign with its ultra bright, energy efficient, illuminated lettering, long-lasting LED lamp life, and thin design allows you to be sure your emergency exits are always easy to find. Plus, the battery backup means your exit signs stay illuminated during power outages!

Made to keep working in emergency situations, this exit sign comes with a 4.8V, maintenance free, long life, rechargeable NiCad battery backup. This backup battery keeps the sign illuminated for a minimum of 90 minutes when the power goes out. This exit sign also has a fully automatic, two rate, solid state charger in order to recharge a discharged battery within 24 hours.

Each exit sign features a sleek, compact, low-profile design with a neutral finish that fits well in most venues. Self-adhering chevron applique indicators let you choose which direction the sign should point. The exit sign comes with the indicators and a placement guide so you can ensure that the sign indicates the proper direction. The housing is made of durable, premium grade aluminum and is designed for recessed ceiling mounting in either drywall or a drop ceiling with the included bar hangers. The trim assembly is easily removable in order to provide access for service and maintenance of the exit sign.

Other features of this exit sign include a push-to-test switch and a charge rate / power on LED indicator light so you can be sure the sign is operating properly. The long-lasting LED lights in this exit sign last for years and the clear acrylic panel features LED edge lighting for consistent, uniform illumination. This dual voltage sign requires a 120V/277V electrical connection for operation operation and is UL listed for damp locations (32 degrees Farenheit to 122 degrees Farenheit). This unit's overall input wattage is 3.6W for a 120V connection or 4.0W for a 277V connection.
