This exit sign with its bright red illuminated lettering, long-lasting LED lamp life, and universal design allows you to be sure your emergency exits are easy to find. Plus, it has a battery backup that keeps the sign lit up if the power goes out in your building!

This model is completely self-contained for efficient, professional installation and safe operation. Each exit sign features a sleek, compact, low-profile design with a neutral finish that fits well in most venues. Also, the housing is made of durable, heavy-duty, white powder-coated, 20 gauge steel.

This exit sign can be mounted either from the side or the top. It includes a universal aluminum mounting canopy and knock outs on the back plate for wall mounting. In addition, it comes with a second face plate so that you can install it either as a single face or double face exit sign. All of the decisions about mounting, arrows, and whether to install the unit as a single or double face sign can be easily made in the field!

Made to keep working in emergency situations, this exit sign comes with a 3.6V, long-life, maintenance-free, rechargeable NiCad battery backup. This backup battery keeps the sign illuminated for a minimum of 90 minutes, even after the power goes out. It also has a charge rate / power on LED indicator light and a push-to-test switch for mandated code compliance testing. The unit features an internal, solid-state transfer switch that connects the battery to the LED lights in case of power failure. And after the battery is discharged, the fully automatic, two-rate charger recharges the battery within 24 hours.

The long-lasting LED lights ensure that you don't have to worry about replacing bulbs frequently. These ultra-bright, energy efficient lights illuminate 8" tall, New York City approved red letters. This unit requires a 120/277V electrical connection for operation and has an overall wattage of 5W.
