Lavex 30" x 48" Replacement Laminate Square Edge Heavy-Duty Workbench Top

This benchtop is built as expected with a smooth particle board base and a high-pressure white laminate. When they arrive without shipping and handling damage, they are great! Unfortunately, Webstaurant had to send me a replacement for one of two benchtops which thankfully arrived in good condition. Actually, both of the original ones were damaged in shipping but the first one was being placed in a position where it wouldn't be noticeable and it wasn't significant enough that it would lead to further cracking. When I asked to have the worst damaged one replaced, I asked them if they could add a "FRAGILE" label to the box. But they ignored me. Anyway, the price was good and the benches are solid and are working out well. I went ahead and gave 5 stars because of that.

Not heavy duty or sturdy at all. Came damaged, it's just particle board with some laminate. One spilled drink on the damaged laminate and it'll be ripe for replacement. The problem is the packaging, it's just a thin cardboard sheet.
