Designed to make a show of opening champagne, this Laguiole 16" Stainless Steel Champagne Saber with Olivewood Handle and Wood Box 2261 takes the top off of a bottle of champagne quickly and easily with its blunt stainless steel blade. A brass bolster and rivets add an elegant appearance to the inlaid olivewood handle, while also ensuring stability and strength to get the job done.

This champagne saber comes in a beautiful 2-piece slide-top wooden box, making it easy to store or a perfect gift. Use it at your restaurant, bar, or catered events. Traditional Laguiole decor embosses the handle and the bolster as a testament to the quality of this piece.

Make sure the foil wrapper and wire cage have been removed from the bottle before using. Keep a firm grasp on the base of the bottle, and be sure that it is pointed in a clear direction. Holding at a 45 degree angle will minimize spilling. After locating the vertical seam that runs up the side of the bottle, hold the champagne saber flat against the bottle. Slowly draw the saber backwards along the seam toward yourself, and then firmly and quickly thrust it back toward the lip of the bottle at a slight angle. The champagne saber is meant for use by an experienced person with training.
